That would be great to see.

Either Boston or Philly is going to be a tough matchup. The Lightning is playing with a lot of speed right now, however I'd like to see the defense tighten up. If it wasn't for Roly, we would've been out of the playoffs early.

The Bruins have trouble with speed. They were pretty passive against the Habs not wanting to get burned by the speed of the Habs forwards. They are playing MUCH more aggressively against the Flyers, pinching hard on defense to keep the pressure on because they dont fear their speed on the breakout as much as the Habs.

Long way to go in this series and if the Bruins win tonight and go up 3-0 the Flyers will say they have us right where they want us after last years debacle.

I'm hoping for a Tampa Boston ECF.

Tim Thomas and Martin St Louis played together here in Vermont and took UVM to the NCAA finals. Hard to find anything to hate about Tampa.

Great to see them doing so well.

Yeah....Tampa beat the hell out of my Caps in game 4 ....sadly, it was not much of a surprise. Unfortunately, my Caps and my Cowboys have been mimicking one another in terms of underachieving the last few years.

You staying dry up there Vtwin? I'm seeing Champlain and its tribs are at a historical high. Looks like most people need boats to get to their docks. :D

That's bad news when playing Tampa.

I'm hoping Boston makes quick work of Philly to get the next series started. I'd like to keep the Lightning's momentum going.

NHL is not like the NBA. They won't start that series until all other series are over.

Thanks.

I guess the Bolts could be waiting for a while then.

Not necessarily. All series could be over by tomorrow night.

Probably then start next Wed or Thurs.

I'm high and dry but it's pretty serious around the lake. Level was over 103' yesterday. Two feet over what is considered flood stage. Millions in damage. A lot of people need boats to get to their homes.

It made me sick to see my Pens blow a 3-1 lead to TB...but it was great to see TB sweep the Caps....it helped to make the Pittsburgh choke job sting a little less. It was also great to see Boston beat Philly. Now the only team left that I hate is Detwaw. I hope the Sharks can close them out tonight.

Yeah...just got an email from a friend up there. I had no idea the extent the flooding had reached....didn't mean to come across as obtuse. I hope they'll be some intervention/compensation from the government for those people effected.

Hope you guys dry out soon.

Bruins vs Canucks for the cup.

What a game 7 last night. 1-0 with no penalties called.

The Bruins have been similar to the Cowboys with their "recent" history of disappointment and underachievement. Last appearance in the finals was in 1990. Head coach and GM who it seems the majority of the fan base have/had no confidence in. A couple high profile players who had the reputation of not getting it done when it mattered most.

All that is history and they have fought their way to an opportunity to hoist the hardest trophy on the planet to win.

Let's go BRUINS!!!

I didn't take it as obtuse. It's tough to complain when parts of the rest of the county have FAR bigger problems then we do. It's still bad here though. Keeps on raining and the lake is still well over 102 feet. Most of the state parks and marinas around the lake can't open. Tough year for those that depend on the tourists.

Hope your place is high and dry.

I hate both teams in the Final but a Vancouver win pretty much ruins my summer and next few years when my Canadiens pay Vancouver a visit, all I would hear is, hahahaha we have a cup and you don't so go Bruins

Rough and tumble game 4. Boston wins Game 3 and 4 by combined score of 12-1.

Glad the series turned around....people were ready to hand it to Vancouver a few weeks ago.

This is something to watch, Nobody gave the Bruins a chance against the mighty Canucks. A couple bounces in the first two games and this could have been over last night. The mighty Canucks offense has scored 4 goals in regulation time in 4 games.

How can you not love Tim Thomas!

The Bruins are in the Canucks heads bigtime.

If youve never watched and NHL game in your life give tonight's game 7 a few minutes.

Most exciting moments in sports.

Congrats to the Bruins. What a way to go out Mark Recchi. 43 years old and retires a winner.
