2012 NBA Playoffs Thread

PS: TP signed with the spurs for 30 million less than gay did with the grizzle! #winning

Well, it's understandable, you must be too young to realize the difference between paying a player 1 million a year vs 20 million a year

Who's talking about money? We're talking about talent and Rudy is definitely a better player than Leonard,

I said I'd rather have, that includes contract. Gay is better now, but at least Leonard knows his place, and I believe eventually he will be much better than gay. Gay was getting shut down by a guy 4 inches shorter than him in the fourth as his team couldn't score and they were chocking away yet another lead late! That's unacceptable for a Max player, a guy who is supposed to be an all star and the best player on your team

The dude is averaging 21 & 6 in the playoffs on efficient shooting. Leonard will NEVER be that good.

Keep telling yourself that about an athletic freak averaging Averaging 8 & 3 as a 20 year old rookie in half the minutes gay plays and maybe, just maybe, it will come true, but I doubt it

Averaging 8-3 is not very impressive at all. Leonard is what he is a role player. Gay is an All Star.

Spurs players with higher PER than Rudy Gay

Tim Duncan
Tony Parker
Manu Ginobili
Tiago Splitter
Patty Mills

players with PER close to Rudy Gay on the spurs

Dejuan Blair
Kawhi Leonard

Rudy Gay = overpaid and overrated!

Rudy Gay's PER is rated between solid second option and third banana!

he is averaging 16 and 6 if you average it out to the minutes gay plays, he is also 20 years old and a rookie on the deepest team in the league, so i would say thats pretty impressive. You keep calling Rudy Gay an all star, but what year was Rudy Gay an all star again?

PER is overrated. Kevin Love has a higher PER than Kobe is he better?

he is more efficient, which was a claim you made about gay, and thats what PER determines

The only reason he hasn't is because Kevin Durant plays the same position. He's certainly an All Star caliber player and you Spurs fans acting like he's a scrub is laughable.

really? i wonder why tony parker has 4 all star appearances playing steve nash and CP3's position?!?!?!?! i guess they only take 1 small forward, but multiple people of every other position! that makes sense

and whats laughable, is the fact that the clippers put 6'4" randy foye on him during crunch time! and whats EVEN MORE LAUGHABLE is the fact that he shut him down until they took the lead! yup, thats the kind of all star, max player EVERY team DREAMS of!

Man, it was pretty quiet at Madison Square Garden until recently.

Miami looks disinterested and bored.

Power forward is also a very deep position especially in the West. It's incredibly hard to make it as a forward. Doesn't mean you're not an All Star caliber player. If the Grizz had Gay last year they would've at the very least made the WCF. As a Laker fan I'd love to get him. I'd trade Pau, Sessions, and MWP for Gay, Conley and Randolph.

Are you serious?

No, seriously?

Baron Davis injury *shivers*

Big time block by Tyson Chandler on Wade's shot.

Philly has been very fortunate in this series....Rose gets hurt in game 1. Noah gets hurt in game 3, with the Bulls up big.....but enough time for the Sixers to come back and win.

Noah should be back for game 5, but this series is over. The Sixers will be playing the Celtics by weeks end.

Let's be honest. The injuries haven't played a factor. The Sixers are just too much for the Bulls. :)

Absolutely. They nearly made the WCF without him of course they would've made it with him.

Anyways :lmao2: @ the Cheat. This is exactly why I don't fear them. If the big 3 aren't superhuman they are gonna lose.

wait, did i just see that right? i was at a cookout eating a nice T-Bone and get back and the heat lose? holly molly!! not that its gonna be a big deal in the long run as far as the series is concerned, but it is more miles on a team with only 3 reliable players! 48 more minutes to possibly get injured! you CAN NOT let teams hang around!

and al horford hasnt been playing? man, if he and smith had been healthy, this series might have been a sweep!
