2012 NBA Playoffs Thread

Boston dominating Atlanta. Even if Horford/Smith were healthy Boston would still be winning. Celtics are just a much better basketball team.

Heat looked pretty disinterested.That was the Knicks championship.
 
hawks struggling, but its to be expected trying to integrate 2 guys back into the lineup. if they can stay within striking distance i think they will make a run in the second half.

Doubt it. This game/series is over. Celtics look real good. They're gonna win the East.

pierce is down holding his knee, but even if an ambulance comes and gets him i still wont believe it after the wheelchair crap he pulled back in the day

Yeah I still believe if he didn't do that the Lakers would've won the title. Everything was going our way we were controlling that 1st game, the crowd was completely out of it, and then Pierce faked the injury and it fired them up and it changed the series.

Reggie just brought up a very interesting point. Who is gonna be that second guard on the All NBA team alongside Kobe. It's gonna very difficult for the voters? There's a lot of guys in the conversation. Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, Dwayne Wade, and James Harden. Wade has probably missed too many games. I think it should be CP3, but it's very, very close.

i dont think its a given that it will be kobe. it will probably end up being him, but i dont think its a given. ive seen lots of experts put CP3 and parker as the top 2 guards in their ballot. my guess is kobe/cp3 will be first team and parker/wade will be the second team.

It is a given. He hasn't missed the 1st team since 2005 and he just had his best season statistically since 2006. 28 points, 5 assists, and 5 boards. Those were his numbers. I know he didn't shoot particularly well (43%), but still for him to average those kind of numbers with the incredible amount of mileage he has (He has played more playoff games than any other active player) is very impressive.

well, im only telling you because i have yet to see an expert's actual ballot that didnt have CP3, but over half of them didnt have kobe, they had parker or wade in them. I think CP3 is the given, bryant is the probable, and parker is the outsider.
 
Damn they just showed Baron's knee injury absolutely brutal. I hope it doesn't end his career, but it probably will. Best wishes to B-Diddy and hopefully he can return.

id rather have Duncan take a game winning shot to be honest with you! hell, gary neal and artest have more cojones to take the last shot! we beat up on lebron a lot, and maybe he doesnt deserve it, but wade already said LBJ is the best player on the team, he is the leader, why the hell is he not involved in the play!?!?! its one thing if the play was drawn up for wade, but lebron was just standing there! he needs to be moving, screen and rolling with wade, something! and if thats the design, he needs to tell his coach whats up!

So the only thing I'm interested now is that this game gets to at least 173 points combined! I have a nice streak going for streak for the cash!
 
All the home teams have won today hopefully that changes this next game. Yesterday all the road teams won with the exception of Memphis.
