The Lakers would've been the best team in the league with CP3. Now we're a 2nd round exit. I hate Stern so much right now.

As for trading Kobe he has a no trade clause in his contract. He would have to waive it and that's not happening.
I didnt know about the clause...at any rate someone needs to light a fire under these guys.

a bid detriment to the lakers IS kobe's contract, with the new CBA, the cap is a lot smaller, but kobe is one of the few players left with a max contract under the old CBA, it will handycap the laker's ability to fill out their roster until his contract expires and he signs one with the new CBA limits.

It pretty much hinders any chance we have at improving our team. The Lakers are probably gonna be a 1st or 2nd round exit the next two seasons. Then Kobe will probably retire and the rebuilding starts.

All we have is a mini MLE and a declining Pau Gasol to improve. We were able to get a superstar for Pau back in December, but his stock has fallen even farther. If we're lucky we get a couple if decent role players. I'm also praying Nash takes a pay cut and signs with us because that's our only chance at winning a championship in the next two years.

Gasol will get traded. I think Gasol for Josh Smith would be a nice swap or Iggy from Philly. Makes their wing defense superb.Atlanta needs a Gasol type PF and so does Philly.

Either of those would be excellent trades. We desperately need some athleticism. Our best athlete is Kobe who's gonna be 34 in August. Gotta get more athletic if we wanna compete with the young guns.

just got home from freebirds, saw that haslem replay, unbelievable how inconsistent the refs are with certain teams and players. like kenny said, if it was ron he would have been arrested and taken out in hand cuffs! lol

Yup I'm still  @ last night's flagrant foul on Metta. That really ended our season right there. Metta gets a BS flagrant then picks up a tech outta frustration. Then Kobe gets a tech. That was 6 point swing.

i hope the heat and celtics finish these scrub teams off in their game sixes, because game seven will be just more of the same.
