Tim Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time and it isn't even close. It's just disrespectful to the man to say otherwise. I've followed his career very closely. I live in San Antonio and I've been to a ton of Spurs game every man. The man is a joy to watch. It'll be a sad day for basketball when both he and Kobe retire. The league won't be the same. Two best players of this era they've had so many great battles over the years. Hopefully the Lakers FO gets their head out of their *** and gets Kobe some help so he can get back to the WCF and the Lakers/Spurs can battle it out one final time.

Spurs in 7. Spurs/Celtics Finals. Two best power forwards of this era go at it. KG vs Duncan a matchup for the ages. Both have found the fountain of youth.

Also NBA defensive teams were announced. 1st team is CP3, Kobe, Tony Allen, Ibaka, and Dwight.

What a joke. Kobe is my favorite player, but I even know he didn't deserve it. Where's Iggy or how about the DPOY Chandler?

Sorry but that team is wrong

1st team LBJ, CP3, Ibaka, Allen, Howard
2nd team Chandler, Rondo, Garnett, Kobe, Deng

Ibaka over KG? :laugh2:

Once again the DPOY not making the 1st team is flat out disgraceful.

Ibaka averaged almost 3 more blocks per game than Garnett.

It shouldn't even be a discussion.

There's more to defense than just blocking shots.

I understand that. But you have to be able to understand the effort and defensive prowess that comes along with blocking that many shots, the range in and around the paint, etc.

i agree with C&LF on this one, for instance, if you are up 1 point against the spurs, duncan gets the ball down low, you telling me you would rather have ibaka guard him than garnett?

now, having said that, the award isnt exactly who the best defenders are, its like the mvp, who had the best season and all that, otherwise avery bradley would be on that list

Bynum says he's following Kobe to Germany for Orthokine therapy. Duncan, with a left knee that seemingly got younger this season, didn't.

Buck Harvey ‏@Buck_SA
Asked why, Duncan deadpanned: "Kobe didn't invite me."

Sixers about to force a game 7. :lmao2:

The Celtics are done. Doesn't matter if they win game 7. They're too old to get past this series and have anything left for the Heat. They're liable to get swept.

It depends on Bosh. If he can't go then I still see Boston winning. They'll be gassed by the time the Finals arrive. Whoever wins the WCF will win the title. I hate Boston as much as I hate the Iggles/Giants and will be rooting hard for Philly on Saturday.

I agree, no way the heat beat them without bosh. The heat are still playing too, and only two guys are pulling their weight, it's not like they aren't gonna be tired too.

big early lead for the pacers, but that seems to be a bad sign for teams in these playoffs

Often times after Miami Heat games, I like to read my Twitter timeline backwards so that LeBron looks clutch. #FullDisclosure
