2012 NBA Playoffs Thread

i dont like that parker had to play 40 minutes, but hopefully now that the whole "we are home, lets get it" part is over, we can get an easy W in game 4 and he can get plenty of rest while the grizzle/thunder beat each other up

It's the playoffs man Parker is gonna have to play big minutes. He's their best player so if they wanna win the West he's gonna need to play big minutes. He got more than enough rest in the postseason.

lol, ya, i meant clippers, i was hoping that series goes 7, but if we sweep, i hope the clippers win in 5, that way we can get that series started and hopefully finished well ahead of the lakers/nuggets series so we can get some rest then.

ya, but for the most part we have been playing this series like the regular season, 11 guys played in the first half today, but hopefully we wont need him so much on monday to close them out. we should have to play playoff type minutes for our main guys until round 2

I was thinking when the Spurs took over the lead in the third that it was the beginning of the end. They had survived Utah's best shot, and were climbing back into the ring with their swagger with Utah knowing their best wasn't good enough.

Spurs up 3-0.

Heat up 3-0.

Thunder sweep the Mavs.

Pacers look like they'll dispatch Orlando in 5.

These playoffs have been very disappointing so far. The only entertains series has been Memphis/Clippers.

The Thunder swept, but 3 games could have gone the way of Dallas. Miami and SA have owned their series. Orlando just doesn't have the horses to stay with Indiana. Philly is going to upset Chicago with Rose and Noah out. Boston will beat the Hawks. If the Lakers win today, they will win in 5, otherwise it is a toss up. As long as Memphis puts the ball in Gay's hands to win it, they will continue to lose in that series.

Jrue Holiday has probably been the best point guard in the playoffs so far along with Parker and CP3. Was struggling most of the game until the 4th. Just hit two huge back to back triples.

Helps that he is going up against a backup though, rather than the best defensive PG in the league

isnt awesome how much the media creams themselves over every little thing that CP3 does......yet, TP scores 16 in the 4th and helps the Spurs blow out the Jazz again......but he gets not even a whisper.

this is why i want the Clippers more than the Grizzlies. We would most likely sweep the Grizzlies, especially if Gay has a very pronounced role. But, I want the Clippers, so TP can go at CP3 all series long, outplay him, and the Spurs just dismantle the Clipshow and move on. Then let the media continue to rank CP3 above TP.

Philly has been very fortunate in this series....Rose gets hurt in game 1. Noah gets hurt in game 3, with the Bulls up big.....but enough time for the Sixers to come back and win.

Noah should be back for game 5, but this series is over. The Sixers will be playing the Celtics by weeks end.

of course you are laughing, you are an ignorant child....i have forgotten more basketball than you have ever known.

Gay blows. Gasol is struggling mightily. Randolph is playing ok, but not as good as he was last season. They do not have Arthur. The one guy that is playing great for them is Conley. Allen is a very good perimeter defender, but he is a streaky shooter and is hot tempered. Speights, is a solid reserve, but still inconsistent.

We swept them in the regular season.....when the two teams were healthy, we dominated the game, even though they made a small run near the end.

We have too many weapons, too much firepower, and we are way too deep for them.

He's an All Star and better than any player on the Spurs roster outside of Parker. The Spurs may win, but to say they will sweep them is ridiculous.

I would MUCH rather have Duncan, Ginobili or Kawhi Leonard than gay

I literally fell of my couch.

Well, it's understandable, you must be too young to realize the difference between paying a player 1 million a year vs 20 million a year
