Honestly, I think I prefer the '95 team because they are the one that beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl... badly needed payback for what happened to our Boys in the '70's X2. We still own them one more... hoping to see the Boys and Steelers meet in the desert in Feb.

We shouldn't even consider this idea until the Cowboys win another Super Bowl. In my opinion the 1992 Cowboys were the best ever. Their 35 point win in the Super Bowl that year put an exclamation point on it.

The 92 Cowboys are the greatest Cowboys team ever many have them ranked in the top 5 all-time greatest teams. Some here get so carried away it's comical. The 2014 team isn't close to any of the great 90's teams including the 95 team. The current team just came off 3 consecutive 8-8 seasons while the 95 team was just coming off 2 consecutive SB wins and a loss in the NFC title game a year prior. Before we get carried away with the current team they're going to have to validate this season with another solid season next year to prove what we've seen this season wasn't a fluke.

The 94 team was better than the 95 team.

Yeah, that team dominated the NFC Championship for 50+ minutes. It is too bad the first 5 or 6 minutes did them in...along with a blatant missed called on Deion interfering with Irvin.

The best Dallas Cowboys team that I ever saw was the 1995 team that beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. Jason Garrett has been building the current team in the image of that 1995 team that he was on. On paper you can see the comparisons of Romo to Aikman, Murray to Smith, Witten to Novacek and Bryant to Irvin. Both teams even have a top notch O-line. The current team is missing the top ranked defense that the 95 team had but that's about the only obvious difference. This offence is built to win Super Bowls and if they don't get it done this year, you can bet the coming improvements on the defense next season will make them a odds on favorite to win it then. Please discuss.

a few things:
1) Not having a top rated defense is huge disparity in any comparisions.
2) Tony Romo has big emotional bridge to cross in playoffs because I can even mention him in breath of those super bowl teams.
3) Also, terrance williams needs to step in post-season because Alvin Harper was killer in big games.

The 94 team was better than the 95 team.

Had the Cowboys not dug such a hole for themselves with those turnovers vs SF in the title game that team would have walked all over San Diego in the SB just like SF did.
