2016 NBA Playoffs Thread

Stephen Curry best player in the game. lol. Doesn't even want the ball. Too funny. Best 3pt shooter yes, other than that, I'll take Westbrook or Durant over him.

Donnavan has done a good job of putting the correct line-ups on the floor against the other teams line-ups the entire playoffs.
OKC is playing with great energy, and has been playing solid defense since round 1...

Lets see the counter move in game 5.

If he is not allowed to walk to the 3 point line uncovered he does not know what to do with himself.

Looks like the Warriors are done -- not playing with much energy or team O & D. Just waiting for Steph to catch fire, and OKC has reined him in.
He and the whole team look demoralized.

It wouldn't be the first time a team coasted effortlessly through the season, only to fold in the intensity and adversity of the playoffs.
Their loss to OKC would stand as quite an indictment to their dream season and Steph's unanimous MVP. Can't we just wait on handing out these awards until the most important games are played? (Heisman also awarded too early)

And oh, Canada -- how about a Toronto vs OKC final? Not what the NBA and everyone else had in mind.

Interesting year.

Y'all are ridiculous. Curry is having a bad series, but he also just won two straight MVPs, a title, and shattered a crap-ton of records in one of the most historic seasons ever. Curry, WB, Durant are still 3 of the top 5 players in the world right now, despite this series. If you think that all he does is shoot/make open threes, then I can't take any basketball discussion from you seriously.

Curry is dealing with some injuries, and OKC is playing better basketball..
Simple... It doesn't degrade Curry... he usually uses an in and out dribble to create his shot at the arc (he's generally not a spot up for whomever said that)... and he usually penetrates deep finishing with style around the hoop... we're not seeing much of that... credit OKC, but also the elbow and ankle isn't helping...

No matter... OKC is playing better, and is on the verge... but i'd caution anyone for calling it over...
there is a reason why we play the games..

A Toronto v OKC is a nightmare for advertisers... but a refreshing surprise for the hardcore fan... and people in those regions...

Shattered 3pt record. I said he was best 3pt shooter in game. We know that.

The ridiculous part is the implication that all he's great at is 3's..

He's a great shooter, 2pt shooter, 3pt shooter. Stats show it. But he doesn't attack the basket enough for my liking.

Looks like the Warriors are cooked. OKC got hot at right time.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Warriors are perfectly capable of winning 3 in a row. It's OKC's MO to choke in the playoffs so here is their chance to break the cycle.

Well, if the man has an inside game then maybe he ought to do to it more. Instead he seems to rather live and die by the 3.

I was dealing with a flood during game 5 so I only saw some highlights, how many times did Draymond Green get away with kicking someone?

It was one thing to kick high enough to hit the groin of a seven footer, he executed a face kick in game five.

Kevin Durant has really choked bad this game, he really needs to pull his head out of his ***
