I sense some Okie anger. Is that the prevailing spirit up there regarding the Thunder? Are the locals wanting to rebuild, or just lamenting the inevitable loss of Westy and KD?

I'm not really sure to be honest. The people I'm around who are Thunder fans seem to be delusional enough to believe that KD and Westbrook are going to sign long term to stay in OKC. But why would they? There is no draw to being in OKC. There is no huge endorsement deals to be had being in OKC. People underestimate the drawing factor of all that outside money that can be had by going to a much bigger market.

As far as anger not really. I don't watch more than a handful of basketball games a year anymore, if I even get to that many. I don't really have a horse in the race anymore, so to speak. Basketball pretty much died, for me anyway, when Jordan retired.

Yes there is a lot of nervousness in OKC right now but I think he signs the one year deal and we revisit this next summer. I actually think he is more inclined to stay than most think since he helped build OKC into a contender and I think Billy Donovan could be a great nba coach. I think KD wants to win and only GS or SA would offer that opportunity. Going to NY, Lakers, or Washington and he's starting at the bottom all over again. OKC actually kinda suits KD more than most realize. That said, I am somewhat objective and I have never thought he had a killer instinct so while OKC stays relevant with him, it will take some serious coaching by Billy's D. or some outside help to get him a ring in OKC. I actually see GS being the most attractive spot for him outside OKC because they could form a dynasty surpassing that of Chicago and realistically win about six in a row, plus it's a bigger market and a fun style to play with.

The internet has made endorsements international... LA & NY being the exception... but you can overcome those markets as well...

I think KD does a one year deal with a player option for a second in OKC... sees what happens from there..

GS can hand check with both hands , foul the **** out of any player they want, gab and hold on all their moving screens and the refs just watch, they are the golden team of the NBA, no doubt.

Hoping for a sweep. Want to see Gilberts face after not winning a championship, again, with LBJ.

Still get a kick out of Cleveland worshiping LBJ after bashing him for leaving.

I think what makes sense is a sign a trade with Durant going to Clips for Griffin. I think this makes OKC better because it will be Westbrook's team and Ibaka can back up Griffin or play the 3. Griffin wouldnt also demand getting the ball that much as long as the team is winning.

With the Clips, they would get another shot creator and maker to play alongside Paul. Also, Paul dont have to be aggressive on the offensive end.

I heard this before...
even though it doesn't look good for the Cavs... there is a reason we play the games...if they get smashed in game three... maybe I will feel differently... but they still haven't lost serve..

Yes......way.

I give the Cavs credit when credit is due. Tonight they did what they had to do. I always considered the possibility they would win one game and so that is all they've done and all they will do. Game 4 belongs to the Warriors.
