So, instead of continuing to run the ball after the 1st q, the put the ball in the hands of baker, and got owned. OU has always used a dominant run game to set up the pass game.....when they go one dimensional as a passing team, they struggle.

I'm pretty sure CBS called an official timeout just to get another commercial in. There was nothing that occurred on the field that necessitated a time out. It was the TV official in red that appeared to call for the stoppage. All hail the corporate sponsors.

Very poor game management by A&M. They did a poor job of running the clock before halftime and then repeated the same thing in the 4th quarter.
