basing that on field accomplishments?
Not that I'm a fan, but they have by far the largest national following (which is more than Cincy and Houston combined) and overall rep. It's not close according to everything I've read from the Big 12 sources.
Even today on both ESPN and a Dallas station they were saying they'd be a coup.
Even on the field, historically, they are probably better...including a national title....though that is not the bottom line.
But they don't play on Sundays and they have a LGBT position that would cause a lot of boycotts and pretests.
I think they rate
much higher academically as well.
Last I looked it was BYU 68, Cincy 135, Houston 194
But I think it's Cincy and Houston.
Then after the TV contract is up in 2024, most feel Texas and OU are gone.
Anyway, I have no skin in the game. Just going by what I've heard and read.
