I'm fascinated to know what the real story is on Brissett. Trading a young QB--and not for high picks--so quickly after drafting him? And doing it right around the time when they made up their mind to ship the #2 guy out of town, too?

I definitely feel like something is up with that whole situation.

Could be Patriots just being dumb. They've had a bunch of hits....but a bunch of misses.....for instance this offseason they tried to get rid of Malcolm Butler....just to overspend on Stephen Gilmore who has sucked this year. People applauded their offseason and put them in the Super Bowl because of the moves they made....but something was off to me. They were getting good names like Brandon Cooks and Stephen Gilmore but that's not the time of moves i'm use to them making. I'm use to them getting the hungry player from a team and turning him into a star.

No way Wentz is mvp. He isn''t even the best qb this season. The guy is only completing 60.5% of his passes. People are only lookiing at his amount of tds, not the other statistics for qbs. Other qb's having better seasons...Alex Smith and Tom Brady.

Well he has the best record in the league too. Trust me....far from a Wentz fan.....i'd rather have Dak......but I get the MVP love. They have the best record in the league and they aren't going to give the MVP to Fletcher Cox.....he's a candidate because he's the quarterback.

I try and judge Wentz like any other QB.....I just don't see the fascination with him. I see at times. I see flashes of greatness. His ability to escape a pocket that's about to destroy him....his ability to throw on the run....he looks Aaron Rodgers esque at times. But most times? He looks like a solid gunslinger who's going to try to win games with his arm. He foolishly gets himself destroyed by defenses by not knowing how to slide.

Not talking about records, talking about Wentz. As I said, he isn't the MVP.

Ok but records are factored into MVP..........he may not be your personal MVP......but they do factor in wins. Otherwise, Dak wouldn't have even been a candidate last year.
