The rangers are a completely different team at home. They should have home field advantage in every series they play in the playoffs.

The way they are playing at the ballpark they are going to be tough to deal with no matter who it is they are playing.

If they were to make it to the world series again, would they have home field advantage?

30-8 in one run games. That's insane. Didn't have to sweat today though. This offense needed a game like this.

A real ugly way to end the season, but props are due... When you win 95 games and you give up more runs than you score– Well that's something.

No rebuild in order but definite changes are going to have to be made in order to stay on top next season.

It was an amazing season for the Rangers but to expect to win like 80% of their one-run games next year would be ludicrous.

The starting rotation after the first two guys is very questionable. And even the front two have some questions. Hamels didn't finish the year particularly strong.

On top of that there are some age issues and some key guys that could be headed off in free agency. Plus the farm system isn't nearly as strong as it was after trading away many prospects over the last couple seasons.

Yeah that's the risk when you go all in. Lucroy and odor cost you guys the game yesterday. The problem going all in is your farm system is depleted. A la the blue Jay's last year.

Yea Im still pretty pissed, although the Cowboys bein 4-1 certainly helps.......someone on twitter within 15 minutes of losin that last game was like "Congrats and proud of yall Rangers" bla bla bla....and I was just like hell nah.....after the season we had, to get swept in the first round by the same team that put us out last year? absolutely unacceptable........Im not callin for any heads, I like Banister and I still like this team and JD as GM......but stop with the "we're still proud of yall" wussy accolades, everybody SHOULD be pissed, the players, staff and fans alike........Complete waste of a great season to get swept in the ALDS, and by a recently hated team no less.....

It's called MLB playoffs..they are a crap shoot. Toronto got hot at the right time and Texas didn't. Heck, the Red Sox who's lineup was stacked just got swept by Cleveland.

It's hardly ever the best team that wins in MLB.

Ah, don't be pissed. You'll never see another team like this. By rights they should have won 82 games. They won 95.

For them to win the division was stunning... They simply weren't good enough to get deep into playoffs.

The offseason for the Rangers will be fascinating. They've got several old players, a thin farm system, a couple guys like Gallo who may not have the upside one may have thought a couple years ago and an already high payroll.
