Lebron and Kyrie (and the way Love was playing) just isn't fair in the East. Tough sledding for y'all. Think they'll trade the first?I hope the NBA finals is better than the conference finals were...brutal, I'm a long time Celtics fan, thought they'd challenge Cleveland. The Celtics should be contender for a while considering they have the Nets number 1 pick this year and next. The NHL conference finals were good, Pitt v Ott was a great series, Nashville will be tough, they are getting great goaltending. I hear you, my Tigers are not doing well either, they missed the opportunity a few years back by not fixing their bullpen...and now that MR. I (RIP) has passed on, I'm not overly optimistic his children will have the same commitment to winning. Can not wait until training and pre-season starts.

Yeah man, that OTT/PIT series was awesome! This finals is gonna be great!!! Didn't know you were a Tigers fan! You should post a little in the MLB thread
Had no idea you're Canadian, Lukin!I hope they don't trade the 1st. These next 2 drafts can really make make them a solid contender for a decade...
Cleveland so good right now, the east will be battle for years to come.
It's only Saturday, getting stoked for the finals. At least I got the Canadian Junior Hockey League (Memorial Cup Championship) game on Sunday to get me pumped, hometown team is the host and in the championship game against Erie Otters. Ryan Ellis won that championship in 2009/10, and now he has a shot at the ultimate trophy.

Amen, Lukin!!! Interesting history there, and an interesting choice of teams, given the geographyI live across from Detroit, the only Detroit teams I like are the Tigers and Michigan Wolverines...lol, I grew up a Montreal Canadians and Tigers fan because my dad, how I became a Celtics and Cowboys fan I can't really say, it's certainly not because they were successful, I was probably 6 or 7 when I became a fan...winning was part of the equation at that time, I'm thinking TV influenced me, both the Cowboys and Celtics were on TV a lot in those days. I've come to find out, Cowboy fans are everywhere...and its great being part of Cowboys nation.
The Pens are the only non Texas team that is my favorite.....all of my other favorites are from Texas.
To be honest, if San Antonio wasn't a one horse town, I wouldn't be a Cowboys or Astros fan......I would be a fan of our hometown team.
Ive been a pens fan since the late 80s.....first hockey game i saw had the pens and mario.....i was hooked. I only like 1 Dallas team, the Cowboys. I hate the rest, including the college teams.I assume you were a Pens fan before Dallas came to town, I root for the Pens if Montreal's out...this goes all the way back to Mario. Good Luck in the finals.

Game 1 tonight, boys!!! If Fleury is in net, I have no dog in this fight, will be happy if PK gets the Cup and would be happy if Fleury gets one as the starter.
If Murray is in, I'm all aboard the Nashville bandwagon.
Most importantly, I want a long, intense, well-played, and hard fought 7 game series!!!
He is a great defender, and you need some swagger on the ice.....kunitz does that for the Pens. Glad HornQ is back, but I miss Letang.....if we had him, I think our path would have been easier and we would win in 5. Without him, it might just take 7. I have enjoyed watching some of the young players get in there and make some noise.I think Murray gets the start, Hornquist is back in the lineup. As a Hab's I have mixed feelings about Subban, I liked him early in his career, kind of tired of mouth on the ice and some of his hot dog antics...but still good for him, he is very generous, gave 10 million to a Montreal Children's Hospital.
Too bad Jagr left......then, he teased returning a few times only to sign with rivals. He is dead to me.Mario and Jagr what a great pair they made...
Now it's Crosby and Malkin...
Copying Kings HockeyHow did Pittsburgh go from being a ***** finesse team to winning 7 game series like this?
