No you disgus.

"If elite running backs were easily replaced everyone would have one" is what he said. Which wasn't the point at all. Replacing elite running back production was the topic. Showing you too missed the point and went over your head(not through your brain lmao). And no every team wouldn't have an elite RB, because wait for it..... they wouldn't then be elite. Can't believe two people don't understand that

You still don't get it. It's okay. The RBBC argument has major flaws. The least of which may be the fact championship teams are built on the backs of play makers. Not four guys named Herb who all carry the football.

Lol as the last championship team just had a RBBC....
Way to absolutely kill all credibility. You're right you don't get it at all.

Delete that last post while you can so others dont see it.

This is a hard position to be in! Zeke is our MVP without a doubt but I agree RBs are tough to sign long term! We also have a QB and WR to sign. We are just going to have to take it one contract at a time with Zeke being last in line to judge durability. Potential franchise down road

Because as we all know, anecdotal examples are the standard and all things are equal in the NFL. Or is it possible there are many ways to win a championship?

That was rhetorical.

That is what the Rams signed up for this time last year.

And now....

The point?

RB is the most wasteful position to invest heavily in. Period.

The Rams are 1 year into a new deal for Gurley and in their heart of hearts they're counting down the days until 2022 when they can get out from under the it.

Doesn't matter.. They have Goff a franchise QB.... He make any RB better

Dude... The first scene I ever wrote was to Bat Out of Hell.
It started... just wait. You're going to see for yourself soon enough.

Good lol. Cuz Meatloaf is very underrated. I enjoy his concerts. Seen him at least 3 times.

Someone lost? What did they lose? Why wasn't I invited?

So, sadly, on a related note, my European tour has concluded. I fly home tomorrow morning. Europe has been wonderful as usual. The Barcelona Zoo, the Barcelona Cathedral, and the casino are my biggest highlights of Barcelona. I won €26,50 on Sunday at blackjack, lost €23,50 yesterday, and won €22,50 today. And the wolf was seriously cool today at the zoo. Europe is terrific. Hope to return soon.

Patterns in the modern NFL is not hard to notice - if you want to win a Super Bowl there are two ways to get there

1. Get a franchise QB, and those most often come in the first, second, and third rounds. Your chance of hitting on a top 5 QB comes with taking a QB within the top 15 on the draft

2. If you do not have a franchise QB, you need to rely on an elite defense to get you there

Building an elite defense in the modern era is much harder to do than finding a franchise QB due to FA ripping apart teams. IF you believe Dak is a franchise QB, you better hope the championship comes in 2019 or 2020, because his cap hit WILL impact the team and this will impact what we can do on the defensive side of the ball.

You can win a Super Bowl, and nearly every team that has won a championship since 2003 has one this without having a top 3 RB or WR on their team they are giving gigantic contracts to. It's unnecessary to do. Zeke should not get a big pay day and he certainly should not be paid like he's the best RB to ever step onto the freakin' field.

Dak, Zeke, or Coop - one of these guys have to go. Dak can't bring us a Super Bowl at his talent level, he doesn't elevate a team enough. So you need cap space to build an elite defense. It won't work, but since the front office is dead set on Dak, that is the route we must go.
I agree, patterns are not difficult to see, yet some still have a difficult time seeing them:

1. Absolutely not true and it has been covered very thoroughly in the last several years. In fact, drafting a QB in the first round has a > 66% chance of being a bust and not a Franchise QB. Let alone a Super Bowl QB.

2. I hate to say this, but very rarely does a team win a Super Bowl without a very good Defense. So Franchise QB or not, the chances of you winning with an average, or worse, defense is very, very slim. Imagine that, the NFL is NOT the NBA.

3. I find it funny that so many fans are still afraid of the Cap. It's just silly. There are really smart people, making a ton of money, that has devised ways to get around "cap issues" each and every year.

4. If there was truly one way to win a Super Bowl, why isn't every team built the exact same?
I remember hearing how an 0-2 team could not, would not, and never has won a Super Bowl, then the '93 Cowboys came along. And since then, the 2001 Patriots and the 2007 Giants have joined the club. Do I suggest going 0-2? NO! But just because it is not "typical" does not mean it is impossible.

5. We just differ on the value of Dak, Zeke and Coop. If all want to be paid at the Top of their position, then so be it, we may have to give up on one. But none of them keep us from having a Championship Caliber Defense either. The only way one effects the other is if Dallas wants to build a team through Free Agency. And even then, a smart cap guy can get it to work out.

But I have a sneaky suspicion all the "Don't sign Dak" and "Don't sign Zeke" is more of a backlash against the Cowboys for not going after Earl Thomas. Instead of signing two YOUNG players that has done nothing but lead the Cowboys to 2 divisional championships in 3 years, people would have rather spent money on an OLD player who has finished 2 of the last 3 years on IR and did not play a full season since 2015.

Oh well, I'm not going to be the one crying or screaming if/when Dak, Zeke and Coop are all resigned. And if they all don't resign, ok. You've still got to draft and coach them up.

I just wish I could feel better about the "coach them up" part.

Will do. Then, on July 26, I'm expecting to turn around and head to my summer spot in Seaside Heights, NJ. Then, go from there.

This was the wolf btw.

Now that someone mentioned it. He kind of does look a bit like LVE. Maybe our new mascot? Would certainly be better than Rowdy.
