I agree, I dont think mist people take a good look at that draft before bashing bj, he looks real good next to most those nobodies, the whole draft is that bad, its tough finding 1-2 players per round worth even thinking about imo

What are you talking about? Just on quick glance I see 8-10 players that are easily better.

then may the heavens let Roquon Smith,LB-Georgia fall to us at 19.

He will likely be there at #19. And I think we will pass on him.

Why limit it to the 1st round? Landon Collins was the first pick of the second round. We could have easily taken him instead. We gambled on raw talent and lost.

It's perspective, if we want to cherry pick better players the Cowboys could have had we could do it for just about every pick we've made.

From that bunch I also like Kendricks (minn) and Funchess (Car) although I didnt think much of either that draft, I wanted us to trade up for gurley as he was the best ive seen in a while

Back to this draft, is it possible that Ronnie Harrison is this years Landon Collins? Seems to be flying under the radar as well but I havent really heard anything negative about him, I havent focused on him when watching bama but seems to be a similarly ranked player and I dont think it woukd suprise anyone if he turned out to be a similar type steal or even an Eddie Jackson type, whom i loved last year and couldnt figure out why he wasnt ranked higher as he made play after play. Hell probably be drafted around where Collins was

What I've heard is coverage concerns, which would likely keep me from taking him at 19.

One guy I want to look more into is Rashaan Gaulden who I"ve heard great things about. Might be a better player you could have AFTER HArrison goes off the board.

Gaudlen is the kid who double middle fingered the Alabama crowd.

He also had an NBA-worthy flop that led to a Florida player getting thrown out for a punch that never happened.

I can't speak on him, as I havent watched him. I can't stand watching Bama defensive players, aside from the Dline.

The guys in the back are all uber talented, but the Dline is so good every year that you rarely see them have to make challneging plays. Reuben Foster was incredible this last year, but his tape had so much projection because of how well he was kept clean by the fattys up front.

Maybe even Preston Smith.
