turnovers are turnovers, so far he has only looked good against a pathetic team
if his name was anything but Manning no one would be talking about him at all
#1 rated QB coming out of HS, Manning name or not. He has every tool and is a freshman. He will also be the #1 pick when he enters the draft.

I think Sark made the right call at halftime putting Ewers back in. He lead the team to 2 TD drives. There are no easy games in the SEC and UGA has some defensive monsters that got healthy for this game. What sucks is the SEC is so hard right now that they are eating themselves. Today we are probably going to see the Big 10 have the top 3 teams in the poll which is ludicrous. I'd love to see the money line on any of those 3 against UGA, Texas, or Bama. I'd take a 2 loss Bama team over anyone in the Big 10.

Manning is so good its going to be scary.

According to some people a couple of years ago, Eww-ers was supposed to have won a Heisman and be the number 1 overall pick in the NFL by now. Instead he looks like a slightly above average college QB and in my opinion will be a limited NFL QB back up that will get overdrafted by some team.

FSU is 1-6! I called it in January when Georgia beat them 63-3 in the Orange bowl. I understand a lot of guys were going pro and opting out........but common! It was apparent they had nothing coming back for the 2024 season. Mike Norvel is a great coach but you gotta question his recruiting. He has risen through the coaching ranks overachieving with lesser talent. I cannot believe how badly he has screwed up the FSU talent base. Clearly there is a big problem. Ive never seen a college team fall so far so fast.

he did lose a lot of talent but you have to be prepared for that and he is COMPLETELY lost
huge failure
a .500 season was reasonable but this?

No matter what Steve Sarkisian says, the band-aid has been ripped off and there is a QB controversy in Texas. What should the Longhorns do moving forward? Tua is back in the fold for Miami, and Ryan Williams paints his nails orange after Vols loss. Hutton and Withrow discuss all this and more on Hot Mic.

its a tough decision. Clearly Manning has more potential, but is he ready? This Texas team is clearly a contender THIS year but can they afford to play a young QB that might cost them a critical game this year?
and once he pulls Ewers that is it; he cannot go back.

Ohio State is clearly not what it was; Nebraska is giving them all they can handle
Indiana is surprising me

Georgia had more projected top 100 players than FSU did going into that game and still smoked them. Like you said all these other teams are replenishing lost players so why isn't FSU? Poor reflection of the coaching staff, a tier 1 program shouldn't fall this hard and this fast.

Now they are 1-7. Norvell might go from undefeated regular season to no job in a mere year. Alabama is probably breathing a sigh of relief bc I think they considered him.

Sark must be running a union shop there b/c seniority is apparently a big part of formula determining who starts. Arch is bigger, faster, and has a better arm than Ewers.
Just maybe what he sees in practice has more to do with what is between the ears?
I laugh at those people that think physical traits is all that matters
Tom Brady was not that big certainly not fast or mobile; and only had an above average arm
Jumongous Russell was BIG had a cannon for an arm and was very mobile
Now which was a bust and which was the GOAT?

JaMarcus Russell was not mobile either in college or the NFL. Tom Brady is 6'-4" and certainly isn't small. He also did not have a weak arm. It wasn't as strong as some, but it wasn't weak.

Ewers probably has the starting job because he has far more experience in the offense. He doesn't look special to me. He looks average between the ears. He has poor feet within the pocket and slow to re-set them when needed.

You are right about Russell - had him confused with another monster arm bust. I said Brady only had an above average arm so where you got the weak claim I don;t know. As regards how big Brady is, he is not particularly thick or strong right?

I can also point out all the other big strong canon armed busts over the years which is why going on about manning's physical traits is not smart
