I can't wait for teams like BYU and Indiana to play an SEC team in the playoff. Who do you think would be favored in a showdown with UGA, Bama, or Texas? It's not hard to figure.
The SEC is just as hard as ever. It just eats itself b/c there are too many really good teams. You can't even take Kentucky and Vandy for granted this year.
yeah sure whatever

Yea, you can wait because it is likely going to hurt your feelings.

The SEC has been protected for years. They only play 8 conf games and pick their own bowl schedule to decide the match ups.
And with parity match ups matter.
Then they pretend all the Bowl losses outside the NY6 don't matter.

Georgia has a QB issue. 10 TDs and 12 picks over the last 6 games. They are still loaded with players, but that issue means they are VERY beatable. Texas is a big 12 team that just showed up to the SEC and already is in 1st place. Goes to show the P2 supremacy stuff is nonsense. The best team in college football just showed up from the always beaten on Pac. And get used to it because next year the rosters drop to 105.

The NCAA is mini-NFL now. It is a parity driven league. SEC teams that cannot develop a QB have no chance other than to add one in the portal.

Texas is good b/c they signed an SEC coach off Bama's staff amd were able to sell recruits on going to the SEC. The SEC isn't "protected". Its the toughest conference in America and has the most NFL talent every year. Thats a given.

Texas has the most money in college football period. Had it long before the SEC was even formed.
They have ALWAYS been able to buy whatever coach they wanted.
They won 4 national championships before they even looked at the SEC.
They only went because ESPN forced the deal.
Why didn't Bama just get Sark back???

The SEC has the most talent for sure.
They also have seen that fall off a quite a bit.
The Athletics' Dane Brugler rates 5 DTs in the top 25. Currently, the SEC has 1 guy, ranked 20th overall 4th best DT. That has been the SEC's bread and butter position until now.

The SEC is not world beaters this year. Vandy which beat Bama lost to Georgia friggin State, LSU lost to a very bad USC team.
NIL has brought parity when every league can pay their players the way the SEC has been doing it for forever.

Protection? 10000%. Missou's toughest non conf game was against the 11th place ACC team, Boston College.
Georgia and Bama play tough schedules because they thought they were good enough to run the table with them. They weren't.
They will likely get CFP bids, but I wouldn't be chalking up any victories yet, those boys have real weaknesses, and the CFP won't let them pick their opponent.

Texas with all their money hasnt been good since ...... Vince Young. Thats a long dry spell don't ya think? Sark was smart to stay at Texas where everything. he accomplished would be appreciated and not compared to Nick Saban.
