Would it be Wemby's or Kawi's team. I can't see Kawhi taking a back seat to anyone.

Also, Kawhi already stated he wouldn't resign with anyone else expect the Raptors. That means any team that would have picked him up (outside the Raptors) would have gave up a lot for a 1 year rental for a 35 yr old injury prone player. If the Spurs FO saw Kawi as the answer for that 1 year they would have attempted to get him

This is all hypotheticals. Spurs wouldn’t trade anything or significance for him and rightfully so.

It would still be Wembys team. I don’t think Kawhi cares about that.
