I think the only reason they got Flagg was because they got rid of Luka. I don’t think there’s a world where both would be here. Even if you don’t believe the conspiracy they had a deal in place with the NBa…trading for AD who’s injury prone and Kyrie getting hurt is why they even had a shot. Had they won one more game we don’t even get a chance to do the coin toss with the Bulls.

Yeah once he gets that it’s over. Kidd playing him at point hurt the team temporarily but helped Flaggs development.

No one is untradable as long as the compensation is adequate. I actually don’t have a problem with trading away Luka. But they should’ve gotten a A LOT more than they did for him. They could’ve had Cooper Flagg along with a boatload of first round draft picks.

I don’t disagree. I understood what Nico was trying to do. I don’t know why he did it for AD knowing his injury history.

I like Christie. I’m not a fan of Reeves but he at least is trade bait. Should’ve got him back in the deal as well.

We were told less than 1 year ago that it was a reasonable compensation for a superstar player.

Well in fairness we were told the superstar was out of shape and couldn’t play defense. That ain’t Giannis who’s also a NbA champion but at the same rime this is the compensation I would’ve loved to have gotten for Luka. Seems like a over trade to me.
