Not Robert Mathis but good call on Freeney!Longer arms than Dwight Freeney. And Robert Mathis.
Me too...add Malachi and TJ to that list.Interested to see how Faulk runs. He was listed between 285-290 at Auburn last year. I assumed he would slim down, let’s see if testing shows more of the explosiveness he had as a Sophomore
For some reason when I initially googled this their stupid AI said Mathis had 30 5/8" arms. Anyway, yeah, you can possibly be a Hall of Fame defensive end with 30 1/8" arms, like Freeney. Rare, but not impossible. Not Robert Mathis but good call on Freeney!
So 1 great player in the last 30 years.
It is a piece of the puzzle and certainly not the end all be all.For some reason when I initially googled this their stupid AI said Mathis had 30 5/8" arms. Anyway, yeah, you can possibly be a Hall of Fame defensive end with 30 1/8" arms, like Freeney. Rare, but not impossible.
Is arm length the end-all-be-all metric for defensive ends? Or is it merely one of several important metrics?
I get the concern but people are acting like it is the single metric that matters.
Actual T-rex,what a bummer.
Bingo!!!! Why is this being treated as some shocker?Bain/Howell were expected to be short-armed.
Jump #’s are pretty great too. Probably going to be 1 of the better RAS scores.Crazy time for Zane Durant.
