I didn't, really. It was nice seeing him break off some big runs (and it's not like that beat up Bears defense wasn't playing hard), but I've yet to feel like our running game is taking over one of these games this year. Last night was probably the closest we've gotten to that, though, so maybe it's coming.

I still think it makes a huge difference for the running game if we can get that WR opposite Dez to make a few big plays. If we can beat a defense from either side and underneath, and have a QB that runs, they really can't afford to focus so much on stopping the running game exclusively. We're getting close.

Which is good, because we still can't get much pressure, apparently.

For all the Zeke fans out there, did you get the sense last night that you were back in the Emmitt days of the 90's? Not that Zeke is Emmitt, but the game seemed like every series started as a 2nd down with four yards to go.
It was awesome and really opens up the playbook

I'll take this game from Zeke with no WOW plays for as long as he's with the Cowboys.

If only we were going up against the Bears D every week. What did Zeke do last night that is anything we didn't see from McFadden last year? We got McFadden for pennies, we gave up a premium pick for Zeke.

Oh, good Lord.

McFadden has no where near that burst. He doesn't run nearly that tough. He doesn't hurdle guys (two different runs). He doesn't get to the corner like that. He doesn't pass protect as well. He doesn't catch the ball as well.

Zeke is literally better at everything than McFadden.

McFadden had 4 runs over 30 yards, 1 over 50, and 6 over 20. That was on pace last year to lead the league on long runs. "No burst" - As always, you're wrong. Stop trying.

"He doesn't catch the ball as well" - What the hell has Zeke done in the passing game? He had a few nice catches, but nothing spectacular. McFadden came to Dallas not giving up a sack in pass protection, his pass protection was just fine.

So what you have is, he hurdled over someone. Oh well ****, I guess we just figured out what makes an RB top 5.

You have so much to learn about football. You don't even understand what you're watching.

Agreed I can't imagine anyone watching the game last night and saying "ehh could've gotten that from McFadden."

Yeah, because it's unimaginable that McFadden could get 140 yards rushing against players that will be scattered across the league next year or on the bench.

In fantasy land, Zeke just put up a 140 yard game against the 85 bears I guess.

The kid had no preseason and faced some stacked boxes in week one and two, yet he is still tied for 2nd in rushing yards.

Get over it already, McFadden is hurt on the bench just like Romo (I guess we can pretend he isn't always hurt). Zeke is the future whether you like it or not. People need to stop the pessimistic crying with our rookies. Yes we could have drafted a D-end or someone else but like anything there are no guarantees it would have been a good productive pick.

You are here thinking I am a fan of McFadden, I'm not. Which tells you what I think about Zeke. He's simply not producing like a top 5 pick.

And I'll "cry" and criticize whoever I damn well please and if you want it to stop, you better provide a better counter-argument. I'll give you another chance.

Zeke is just getting started, it was refreshing to see some of those excellent runs.

They will get him more involved in passing as we go forward I hope and he is just scratching the surface, he will be BEAST!
