Also 2nd round tenders are a little bit cheaper salary you have to pay him in 2023, I think doing a 2nd instead of a 1st makes the salary almost 2 million cheaper
My fear is he will start slowly due to the injury and be a liability this year. But some team will make an offer. I'm leaning towards letting him walk. If we do that, I say draft his replacement. If the Georgia kid is there, draft him at 26...Jones.
A starting RT could be a great use of a very late 2nd rd pick. CAR, PHI, CIN, KC etc. at the end of the second might want to grab a young starter rather than gamble on one. Not sure I like this.
