I will say this, with Lamb, Gallup, and OBJ if Dak cant get it done then we know beyond a shadow of a doubt we need a new QB..............no excuses with this WR core, NONE!!!
Don’t do that. If we don’t get OBJ you’re insinuating there may be an excuse.

I'm doubtbul OBJ can get back to being an all-pro and I'm skeptical on if OBJ can get back to even 2018. Also consider he's only played in 2 full seasons, doesn't see the point playing in the regular season, and has a few screws loose.
His first ACL surgery was botched and he still looked great in the Superbowl until the knee went out. That's the reason the Rams got him on the cheap, the knee was in bad shape. The 2nd ACL surgery allegedly repaired the damage from the first surgery. He might be better than ever.

OBJ is coming off 2 ACL injuries and wants top dollar. That is a hard no.

I rather trade a 3rd for Hopkins. He is due 35 million over the next two years or 17.5 per year, good numbers. Plus he has shown he still has plenty in the tank. This is the way to go.

If Bijan Robinson drops to Dallas they should draft him. You would then have Lamb, Hopkins, Gallup, Ferguson, with Robinson & Pollard as your primary weapons. That dog will hunt.

Not really.

Dak plays his best when we have a dominating run game with complimentary passing game. It’s not the other ways around.

We must have an overall better running game through the entire year and not just regular season.

Two-time ACL tear, as in the last 2 calendar years and over 30 years old, OBJ has had positive discussions with the Cowboys.

Some of y'all are a lot more excited about this than me.
It's not really a 2x tear....it was more of a tear that wasn't fixed properly. Let's be clear and fair on it, the fact is that he had a very bad injury that wasn't fixed properly and now has had it corrected and an extended time to heal.

There is risk and there is upside

If we land either Hopkins or OBJ we still should draft Bijan if he’s there at 26. We get enamored with WR and passing game but Dak NEEDs a running game to be effective. That’s why his first season was so good. We didn’t ask him to carry the team. When we ask him to careythe team his INT numbers sky rocketed.

Doubt it. Would ruin the good moves they've been doing lately. Minus lve
If RB plays like Zeke in his rookie year? Or like Emmett Smith, Edgar James?

A dominating runner covers lot of warts of the QB. Best friend for D.

The problem is he is not asking for risk/upside kind of money. He’s asking for complete upside kind of money.

The rb stuff doesn't work in the playoffs. Our supposed trash run d handled vaunted niners run game with McCaffrey.

Oh yeah, I forgot about TE................seen mocks with kincaid going to us, dont know much about him other than he is from Utah and seems to have really good hands.

Could be the replacement for Schultz.
He would be much more than a replacement for Shultz. He is fantastic. And his hands are probably the best in the whole draft. Dude catches everything.

He was about all Utah had on offense. Every defense went into the games saying, “We have to stop Kincaid”, and it didn’t matter. He lit them up anyway.

Unfortunately, Kincaid will more likely than not be gone by the time Dallas is on the clock.

I get your point my friend, but this is getting ridiculous.

If you got Lamb, Gallup, and OBJ at WR, that is probably one of the best WR cores in the entire league.

We have pumped tons of resources, money and draft picks including our first rounder last year, into the online. We just reworked Tyron's deal to bring him back too.

At HB we just franchised Pollard to bring him back, we probably use a high pick on another RB maybe even our 1st this year, and we are still talking to Schultz trying to bring him back.

Good oline, good HBs, good TEs, great WR core, ect.................So exactly how much surrounding talent does our $40 mill dollar QB need to get it done?
