Hard pass on this guy, not only is he not that great on the field, he's a cancer in the locker room..Jets, please sign this clown to go along with the other clown Rodgers.

This really all depends on the contract. It has to be 1 year prove it deal and can’t be anywhere near $20 million. I’m fine with a 1 year contract around $8 guaranteed with incentives to bring it higher but anything else is too much of a risk.

TE/RB? RB's usually show up around the 20's as well.
Draft is deep in TE and RB's this year, no way would I ever take a RB in todays NFL in the first round...as far as Dallas goes, I think the pick is either a OT, TE or DT depending on what's available in the first round..

I figured he would be the target over a trade. Keep draft collateral and sign wr for cheaper than trading for Hopkins or evans or cook. I would rather hop but still.

I'm doubtbul OBJ can get back to being an all-pro and I'm skeptical on if OBJ can get back to even 2018. Also consider he's only played in 2 full seasons, doesn't see the point playing in the regular season, and has a few screws loose.

Watch out for aging receivers with leg, knee, ankle injuries.
Besides, wait until Dakota bounces a pass off his knees.
Talk about the circus coming to town.

Having good discussions and agreeing on compensation are two very different things. There were early indications that OBJ was adamant about getting big money, which isn't something that the Cowboys are fond of providing. In fact, they avoid it religiously. We'll see. I'd just as soon see the Cowboys draft a good TE who can both block and get downfield effectively. Let's not be surprised if they pursue both positions, though.

If McCarthy, McClay and Jerry are all on board then get it done. My concern is that this feels like the TO situation all over again. The only person that wants him is the owner. Notice I didn’t say the GM because the owner sees the $$ that this player will sell in tickets & merchandise.

I will say this, with Lamb, Gallup, and OBJ if Dak cant get it done then we know beyond a shadow of a doubt we need a new QB..............no excuses with this WR core, NONE!!!
Depends on the "Big Ugly" on the line but, yes.

Yeah, if we sign OBJ then I dont think we are going to go WR in the first round, especially after we reworked Gallup's contract and the out they had next year is now gone.

So you got Lamb, Gallup, and now presumably OBJ all on multi-year contracts..............would be stupid to draft another WR in the first round.

So pick 26 has to be either OL/DL or possibly HB.
Tight end/offensive tackle hybrid (Washington):grin:. It sets up perfectly to draft a defensive tackle, offensive linemen, running back, tight end, and quarterback with our first 5 picks. You like it!!!!!:omg:

I was all in on obj as an end of season addition…I’m not now. Not banging the table not to do it either and think we will because Jerry seems obsessed but not the move id make. He hasn’t made a pro bowl since 2016. He hasn’t been a consistent reliable game changer in years.

He can still make plays, he can still absolutely help but that’s also contingent on if he’s healthy and then if he is I’m still not sure he’s as game changing as his name suggests. I don’t think he’s anywhere near as bad in the lockeroom as some here but even if there’s a 5% chance he’ll grip about getting looks or another airplane distraction happens off the field (much higher odds Imo) why take that chance?

I’d go for Hopkins. Who is not without his warts…but he produces when he’s out there- we’ve seen it as recently as this season. He costs a 2nd….not something you take lightly of course but if I told you we could add deandre Hopkins & stefon gilmore for a 2nd and two 5ths we would do that in a wide open nfc in an instant.

Hopkins is the splash jerry thinks obj is.

1st 3 rounds can go OL/RB/WR unless you have a can’t miss linebacker or DT. Then you managed to make the defense slightly better and you’re completely revamping the offense.

I know Jerry is driving the bus here, but i'd be surprised if he ends up here with other teams in the mix.

If they sign obj Dak will be the kicking net by game 4. OBJ will cancer Dak with his awful passes and he will call him out on every social platform. OBJ will end 4. I guess I should be hoping it happens although it's not good for the team.

Done is too strong of a word….but a world class athlete running wide open routes on a football field completely alone and untouched means nothing
Doesn’t mean nothing. Doesn’t mean much but it means more than nothing. You can clearly see the burst is still there. That alone means something.
