Do you think the Eagles defensive coaches aren't game planning for Orton? Do you think all the film of his previous NFL plays have been erased? There is no curve being thrown here. Their strategy will be focused on stopping the run and pressuring with their front four like always.

For some strange reason, the Vegas bookies don't seem to agree with the OP. Immediately upon getting wind of Romo being out and Orton being in, they increased the odds from 3 to 7 in Philly's favor. Guess again.

Tony Romo being out is in NO WAY an advantage. The guy makes plays and has been known to play big against the Birds. His escaping ability in the pocket and extending plays is what makes him good.
