When I watch our home games these days I am ashamed. Even though Texas Stadium was a dump, it was a LOUD and HOT with a big old slope at midfield. People didn't want to play us at home. Now, everyone is excited to play against us because their fans are overwhelming. I don't really understand it. Actually, I guess now I do. We just aren't very good.

There simply isn't enough excitement to get me and most of my friends to the stadium.

We've had our hearts trampled for 18 years now. There is just no part of it that's fun.

And I'm a 27 yr old guy. I'm the demographic you want at the game.

But on behalf of me and a lot of my friends... *** that. We're not spending our dollars on going out to Arlington to watch a team that hasn't done a damn thing but embarrass themselves since we were in the 3rd freaking grade. Jerry doesn't deserve our money.

And that's the problem. You have an entire generation of guys like me who just see going to the game as a chore/punishment.

I for one, as a Dallas native, am not embarrassed by being over run by bandwagon fans. Hopefully it's a message to Jerry that the brand that he bought will only take him so far. He has to manage it and offer something back to the locals... We're just not that stupid.

Exactly. At the heart of this lies a franchise that if not for outstanding brand appeal would be blacked out, or relegated to FOX C announcers team coverage.

We are not a good franchise. A Cowboys game has to be one of the coldest ticket on the market right now right behind a Rangers ticket which is saying something since the season just started. There will be more hype about the UT/UCLA game than the upcoming Titans game.

Actually, I think we have a great and knowledgeable fan base. I think most of them can't afford to go to the games at AT&T. And they know we haven't been that good recently, so why shell out that kind of money for a team that isn't that good.

Also, isn't Dallas a relatively cheap place to fly in and out of? Might make it easier for travelling fans. Plus, everyone probably wants a chance to see the stadium.
Ok, fine, but why aren't more cowboy fans doing the same?

We aren't very good . The cowboys fans at the game today were good cowboys fans . The fairweather fans will be back when the cowboys are good again .

I was at the Punctured Lung game at candlestick in '11 and it was rocking with cowboys fans. I've been to jerry world and the experience was very wine and cheese. Sad.

With the ticket prices where they're at it's not a huge surprise that you get the wine and cheese crowd. Add in the fact that the team has been mediocre-to-bad for 18 years it's not exactly a mystery how there's a lack of enthusiasm. I wonder what the common denominator is in all this....

Just noticed we could play them again at home next season if we finish 2nd in the division.

(Assuming Seahawks win their division)

Jerry Jones has basically screwed this team over competitively.

We have no home field advantage, no head coaching advantage, and terrible overall management.
