Actually its the same in the away stadiums the Cowboys play in. I've been to Cowboys games in several places, and Cowboys fans take over the stadium, especially in San Diego and Arizona.

i think people are just kinda sick of watching the same mediocre product over and over again. ive heard fans on here boycotting buying anything cowboys and going to games. this is probably the outcome of that.

I'm one of them. I even called directv the day they gave Romo $100 million and canceled my Sunday Ticket. I haven't spent a penny on anything Cowboys in three years and I used to be a pretty heavy collector. I watched a few games last year when they were on locally but I spent most of my Sundays last season practicing baseball with my son. He made a travel team because of it and will be playing games almost every Sunday so I will be spared the headache of watching this trainwreck. I can't recommend it enough to not waste your time and money with this current team. Spend your Sundays with your family and you will be much better off for it. The day will come when we can be proud of our team again but it won't be until Romo is long gone and Jerry is no longer breathing.

I'm actually in San Francisco right now, and have been since Friday and I swear I have seen no more than ten Niner jerseys, and then be been all over the city. I've seen three Cowboys jerseys. I think a lot of those fans are bandwaggoners. Not that we don't have them too though...

I guess Cowboy fans don't have jobs or don't understand how to use the internet to buy tickets.

That or they are getting smarter about Investing in a poorly run organization who sells a deficient product.

I've been to Detroit, Cincinnati and Cleveland for Dallas games and it was pretty close to 40-50% Dallas fans and we made ourselves heard. It's really a sad state of affairs if they can't get more then 50% at their own stadium. Where are all the local fans that have watched since they were kids or the season ticket holders for years and years? I just don't understand how they get more fans at away games then at home no matter who they play. Sad

you'd think San Fran would be a game season ticket holders would want to see.

or one of the best money making games to sell. Lets face it, People probably sell have the games to pay for the seat options and high ticket costs.

Is this really new?

Of course if you live in a place where the team you like only comes once every 3 or 4 years you are going to show up in huge numbers when they come to town. This happens every time a good team comes to Arlington. This is that fan's Super Bowl. Sucks when the fan base has lots of transplants so then everybody gets the same idea and we see something like today, but that's just how it's always going to shake out in the modern NFL.

Chicago Bears are going to have a sea of orange

Packers sea of Green

Steelers sea of yellow..

etc….

It's silly for Cowboys fans from other states to bash the guys who live here and let photos like the above paint a picture that the local fan base doesn't care. Like someone said, this is a place that people fly in from around the world to see. So the Star is nothing more than a tourist attraction than a place to rally up and watch a football game. Local people have already figured out it's better to watch from at home or at a bar than in that venue.

your missing the point...and by a large margin. This doesn't happen in Dallas on opening night.

Why do you even bother posting if your not a fan? You said yourself you dont watch a lot of games. You quit being a fan, which is fine. Why bother?

Did fans already give up on the season?

Or was it a chance to pay for their season tickets?

The home crowd is somewhat pathetic, I know they get tired of hearing that. We had the Panther Stadium rockin when the Cowboys came to Charlotte. I went to the opener last year and it was the typical wine and cheese crowd! They can get mad all they want, but it's true. It's annoying as hell.
