49ers are looking beatable

Personally, I would never consider a regular season game as "my Superbowl"......I have a feeling you're quite young, not that there is anything wrong with that.

In his defence I think he's saying that he doesn't expect much this season so this is the game he wants to win most this year as opposed to a win in this would be as good as winning the title. Maybe I'm just projecting though cos that's pretty much my feelings on the London game though obviously I'd love to be proven wrong and for that game to be a step on the route to a deep play off run.

My worry is that the reason our offense looks so good in practice is because the defense is so bad. Our defense was a cure for any struggling offense last year and may cure all ills for the Niners. We made backup QB's look like superstars. I just don't see an improvement in talent on that side of the ball.

Not sure how you can think our offense only looks good because of that. We did finish 5th in points scored last year.

An improved Williams, a healthy Romo, Bryant continuing to improve, Escobar/Dunbar/Beasley all with more experience...this offense will be good.

I would say the same thing about the 9ers as I would any team right now and that is it is pre season. Once teams start putting in game plans making adjustments with the personal packages it will be a lot clearer of what to expect from a team.

Heck let them run.. Just keep them out of the endzone.

Keep that clock running and make the game winnable in the 4th quarter.

careful what you wish for... if you run... more men in the box... more men in the box.... a lot less help in the secondary...
those guys can use all the help they can get..... Quan and V Davis will eat us alive....

And I would say you don't struggle all preseason and then come out in week 1 and set the world on fire.

Our defense is potentially so bad that it could happen that way for the 49ers but I'm guessing we are in the game for 4 quarters.

I'll risk it.. If we have a strength on defense it's in the secondary.

Nope 36...but I am just being realistic. This team is really bad. But thanks anyway.

I'll be right here watching and pulling for a cowboy win but, in case no one has noticed, we kinda look beatable too. :D

A team like the 49ers is exactly what we are going to struggle with this year. A not good offense and a decent defense just like the dolphins or any other team like that. Our D will make any offense good but our O generally won't be able to dominate a good defense all the time

I watched SB teams from the Cowboys lose in pre-season and yet go on to win the SB in 93 Dallas went 1-3-1 in the pre season and did not look like a SB team. I do think 9ers have some question marks I also know once coaches start putting in game plans things start looking much different. This is why I don't panic over our team in pre-season or the opponents.

The difference is that the 93 team had talent and good coaching...this team does not.

I've thought all along they were due for a down year and we'd have a good chance week one. That could still be very wrong, but they don't look good at all so far.

Yep. Catch is wrong here. It all depends what coaches are looking to accomplish in preseason. There are too many variables at work for it to be a very useful read on what you're going to see from any team on week one.

49ers look horrendous

no question in my mind that they are beatable

we just arent a team that can beat em

I would say the big concern is 9ers

49ers don't? Pre season is a means to get your team ready and to look at younger players who are trying to make teams there is a reason these games do not count. I think 9ers do have some concerns they will be without some key players but as far as what they may or may not do is not going to be determined by what took place in pre season.

I think it will be a typical Cowboys game. We'll make them look like a super bowl team and putter VERY slowly on offense despite them losing playmakers. Then it'll come down to a final drive. I obviously expect SF's "horrible" offense to light up the scoreboard, erasing any of that doubt.
