Very beatable
I'm just worried that we won't be able to fluster CK and the 49ers will find offensive success running the ball down our defenses throat.
I think we can pull out a win, but, it'll be a frustrating game to watch at times.
Why not?
If they aren't scoring a lot of points then we'll be in this game.
because they are beatable.
stopping the run against them will be key.
we can put points up on them with a good game plan.... stopping gore, davis, kap, & quan is a different story.....
oh, they will score a lot of points against us...dont get it twisted...if the fins can run for 200 yards on this team...the niners damn sure will be able to move the ball
.The Cowboys starting offense hasn't looked very impressive. Romo got sacked 3 times vs Miami and Murray only averaged 3.0 a carry. We're seeing a lot of the same issues with the Cowboys this preseason that we've been seeing. We're seeing a lot dumb penalties on offense and opponents are able to move the ball and score on our defense. Nothing has changed.
The Cowboys are more beatable. They're 0-3 in preseason and have given up 82 points. They've looked worse this preseason than the previous 3 preseasons under Garrett. They gave up 200 yards rushing to Miami Saturday night and over 500 yards rushing this preseason. The Cowboys have looked worse against the run than the pass this preseason.

so they are both beatable... so there you go...
I didn't say the cowboys weren't beatable. If you ask me who's the better team, I would say "the niners"...
If you ask me could the cowboys still win, I would say, "yes"
Until they get on the field... I'm not going to get super depressed and start predicting doom.... and even if it is "doom" I will be okay.
Anyone who doesn't think this team pulls a surprise win against the Niners followed by a humiliating loss to lowly Tennessee hasn't been watching the past fifteen years.

My worry is that the reason our offense looks so good in practice is because the defense is so bad. Our defense was a cure for any struggling offense last year and may cure all ills for the Niners. We made backup QB's look like superstars. I just don't see an improvement in talent on that side of the ball.
Even with all of the deficiencies on defense, this schedule is easy enough that, other than maybe Seattle, nobody is really going to be favored heavily. There's no reason to think the Cowboys can't beat the 9ers.
Saints?

You're saying SF is beatable based off their play this preseason when all we've seen of them is mostly their backups. Kap has only attempted 22 passes and Gore has had only 3 rushing attempts. Even playing mostly backups including Blaine Gabbert at QB they beat the Chargers by 14 points last week a team that blew out the Cowboys by 20 in week one of the preseason. The Cowboys are having their worst preseason under Garrett since he took over the team. The 82 points the Cowboys have given up after 3 preseason games are more than Garrett's 3 previous preseason teams after 3 games. If the Cowboys lose to Denver in the preseason finale it will be their first winless preseason in over a decade.
You can't judge SF based on their preseason performance/record because of their talent and the quality of play we've seen from them since 2011. But you can get a read on the Cowboys from their preseason performance because we're seeing a lot of the same issues we've been seeing during the regular season the past 3 years. We're continuing to see the drive killing penalties and the defense continues to be porous against the run and the pass. Prior to training camp many predicted this Cowboys team would be Garrett's weakest team and so far in preseason it has been.
In Saturdays dress rehearsal the Cowboys starting offense looked unimpressive and Romo got sacked 3 times in 2 quarters of play. So much for the OL FANS have been drooling over Romo won't last the season if he doesn't get protection than that. The Cowboys gave up almost 500 yards of offense to Miami (what else is new) and 200 of those yards were on the ground. SF will be ready to play opening day and the Cowboys defense will be the perfect medicine to get their offense on track.
