I hope we beat them, as a Cowboys fan living in Northern California it's hard enough to deal with Niners fans when we aren't playing them let alone when we are. We always match up well against them so i think it'll be a competitive game.

The fact that Gabbert looked leaps and bounds better than Kap shows you can't read too much into preseason performances. I doubt anyone would say Gabbert is better than Kap. Gabbert was dreadful in the Niners first 2 preseason games check his stats. The final score in preseason doesn't matter to most good teams but it does matter to some mediocre/bad teams who are trying to improve and build some confidence entering the regular season.

When Jimmy first arrived in Dallas he felt it was important for the Cowboys to win during preseason to build a winning attitude. The Cowboys haven't won a game since week 16 of last season. Losing every preseason game isn't going to improve the psyche of this team heading into the regular season.

The fact that you said you did not watch the game is clearly evident in your posts. Who said anything about the Cowboys? I thought we were talking about the Niners last preseason game. You obviously changed the subject since you have no idea what you are talking about in regards to the Niners last game.

We'll see. They lost a few players on Defense. It is almost impossible from year to year to predict who the best team in any conference will be.

Every team loses players, but the core of that team is still intact and they are the clear favorites in the NFC.

I checked the stats, read the recap, saw the highlights and listened to a breakdown of the game by those who did watch it so I have an excellent idea of what I'm talking about in regards to the Niners last preseason game. No one is changing the subject I covered the Niners last preseason game and their first 2 preseason games because you mentioned how well Gabbert played compared to Kap vs San Diego. I mentioned the Cowboys because it's relevant to the discussion seeing they open up the season vs the Niners.

Niners will come out running obviously & they have a running back/QB.

He doesn't have to throw to beat us. Niners win by TD.

Contain kap in the pocket . Muster up some kind of pass rush . Limit the penalties and we'll pull it out . This coming from a pessimist .

Gee - I wonder what they are saying about us after watching the film from our game with the Dophins?

Our offense has scored, San Fran only scored 3 points in 3 games. The only time they scored was in the 3rd game and that was all backups.

Not scared of San Fran. We will beat them week 1

Fun story. Rod Marinelli's 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in preseason and allowed a total of 26 points in 4 games.

They went on to not only lose every game, but in only 3 of 16 games did they hold the opposition to less than 26 points (and one was 25 - most were in the 30's and 40's).

Pre-season scoring results don't mean anything.

This.

It's week 1 -- Cowboys have a great shot winning this one IMHO.
