depression must run rampant on this board.
I think Seattle will fall off a little bit this year. We'll see.
I didn't watch the game but SF won 21-7. How can you look "terrible" and win by 14 points? SF out gained the Chargers and led in time of possession. SF even had more first downs than the Chargers and Blaine Gabbert saw a lot of action.
After watching them yesterday I think this game is pretty much a coin flip.
They are struggling bigtime to move the ball on offense and just look completely out of sync.
Our weakness is defense but I think Kaepernick is going to struggle early on in the year until that team finds a rhythm.
What i'm saying is that we will match up well with the 9ers in week 1.

I was referring to the first team offense/defense. Gabbert looked leaps and bounds better then Kap. Who cares what the 2nd and 3rd team spares did? The final score in preseason games means literally nothing.
When the Cowboys look bad in the preseason: "It doesn't matter, the games don't count. Our game plan was vanilla because we don't want to show off all our tricks and guys are saving their bodies for the regular season. The defense still doesn't have all its starters back yet."
When our opponents look bad in the preseason: "They look terrible. We can beat them."
If our D can't stop Gore, Hyde, Kaep and co. from running all over the field then we have no chance.
Our recent track record doesn't show much hope for our run defense. All I can hope for is that our horrid D is somewhat negated by their sputtering offense. Offensively, I think we'll be okay; not dominant, but good enough to win if our D can pull it together just a little bit.
