49ers are looking beatable

If our D can't stop Gore, Hyde, Kaep and co. from running all over the field then we have no chance.

Our recent track record doesn't show much hope for our run defense. All I can hope for is that our horrid D is somewhat negated by their sputtering offense. Offensively, I think we'll be okay; not dominant, but good enough to win if our D can pull it together just a little bit.

Yea, they're struggling to move the ball down the field.

Unfortunately, our Defense is just the remedy for a struggling offense.

I didn't watch the game but SF won 21-7. How can you look "terrible" and win by 14 points? SF out gained the Chargers and led in time of possession. SF even had more first downs than the Chargers and Blaine Gabbert saw a lot of action.

I was referring to the first team offense/defense. Gabbert looked leaps and bounds better then Kap. Who cares what the 2nd and 3rd team spares did? The final score in preseason games means literally nothing.

After watching them yesterday I think this game is pretty much a coin flip.

They are struggling bigtime to move the ball on offense and just look completely out of sync.

Our weakness is defense but I think Kaepernick is going to struggle early on in the year until that team finds a rhythm.

What i'm saying is that we will match up well with the 9ers in week 1.

LOL. SF 49 Dallas 28

This is why they play the games; because no one knows who is going to win until they actually play. Win or lose, I would like to see Wilcox or Dixon lay somebody out.;)

so 49ers look bad in preseason and they look beatable but the Cowboys cant pass for 100 yards in a half and its just because we not game planning? lol

I REALLY dont like Kapernick or 49ers but it is silly to think they are easy target for this team. Chargers was hitting that dude all the time huge pressure making him throw early and also stopping the run dead. Cowboys are going to put pressure huh? remember last year Saints never punted. Rivers didnt have incomplete pass!

I dont like them but to copare 49ers to us this year is funny. the only good thing is that Bowman won't be playing. if they are struggle to play offense this will prob be a good confidence boost because Dallas made so many qb look like all pro last year. Chicago game? remember. What about Detroit Megatron had over 300 yards lol. I want to be positive ok but keep it real

Beatable to the Broncs, the Seahawks maybe.

Their QB alone can beat our D.

Very beatable. My buddy, a die hard Niner sends me the following text: "Y'all got us week 1"

The fact that Gabbert looked leaps and bounds better than Kap shows you can't read too much into preseason performances. I doubt anyone would say Gabbert is better than Kap. Gabbert was dreadful in the Niners first 2 preseason games check his stats. The final score in preseason doesn't matter to most good teams but it does matter to some mediocre/bad teams who are trying to improve and build some confidence entering the regular season.

When Jimmy first arrived in Dallas he felt it was important for the Cowboys to win during preseason to build a winning attitude. The Cowboys haven't won a game since week 16 of last season. Losing every preseason game isn't going to improve the psyche of this team heading into the regular season.

When the Cowboys look bad in the preseason: "It doesn't matter, the games don't count. Our game plan was vanilla because we don't want to show off all our tricks and guys are saving their bodies for the regular season. The defense still doesn't have all its starters back yet."

When our opponents look bad in the preseason: "They look terrible. We can beat them."

Let's keep it real, fellas -- the Niners may be beatable but let's face it, we're even more beatable.

Right now, we can't stop the run, can't generate a pass rush and don't sustain offensive drives.

If something doesn't change drastically between now and our opening game, we're in trouble.

The reality is, it doesn't matter for either team.
And we can beat the Niners. Especially in week one. Every go to Vegas during the first week of the football season? It's a tough week to predict winners and losers. A lot goes on in and off-season for NFL teams.

The Cowboys always seem to do well on opening day so I think they have a shot. Not a good shot but a shot.

Me thinks it will be a shoot out. Our O will give us hope that they are unstoppable for the remainder of the season just because they laid 42 on the vaunted 9ers defense.

But alas, a stinker to be laid against the Titans awaits.

They are beatable right now but not by our team.

49er O Line is a mess right now but so is Cowboy D Line. 49ers 3.5 point favorite and I dont see the Cowboys stopping the run or defending the middle of the field versus the pass well enough to pull this out.

Gee - I wonder what they are saying about us after watching the film from our game with the Dophins?
