When you know your playing a pressure defense you also know you have to get rid of the ball quicker. Eli Manning did that when he beat the Panthers defense in their prime. Romo tried to hold the ball like Dak and they lost. This loss is on Dak, those guys did enough but Daks indecision and patting the ball cost the Cowboys a chance at being competitive.

How do you get rid of the ball quicker when all your WRs are running 15 yards down the field?

This offense uses very few slants, crossing routes etc. that help you beat quick pressure.

We have a $40m QB that instills 0 fear in opposing defenses.

Wow

Ha-Ha, the 9ers got it right. Prescot can't beat the better class teams in this league, the dude is as dumb as a rock and as slow as a THREE TOE SLOTH when it comes to reading the field. The way Romo was kicked to the curb in 2016, he made dam sure that he pointed out how slow Prescot was getting rid of the ball and how slow he was reading the field and how off he was hitting open receivers which I greatly appreciated because too many "HOMERS" have been calling Prescot the next best thing since slice bread when in fact he's just an old moldy loaf sitting on the counter watching the better teams pass him on by!

This, don’t know why they don’t, guess cause they don’t have a Playmaker at receiver, because Troy and the Playmaker that was there bread and butter.

The realisation that Dak Prescott has the worst contract for a team in NFL history. #kneecapped

Do you really want Dak throwing crosses into a congested middle of the field? Crosses need a QB that can be EXTREMELY accurate because if the throw is off just a little bit, the WR has to twist and contour his body just to try to make a catch and could tip the ball into the air resulting in INTS. Good luck trying to convince Dak to attempt those throws lol i don't think he trusts his arm in that situation.
The same could be said about posts, Dak doesn't like those either because it's one of those timing routes in wich the QB has to throw the ball before the WR makes his break inside.. The ball has to arrive just as the WR is turning his head back to the QB and we know Dak hates "taking chances". There's a reason most of our routes are button hooks and come backs.

This isn't a knock on Dak, every (MOST) QB has weaknesses and you have to call the plays with that in mind. That's why guys like Rodgers and Mahomes are great..you can literally call any play because they can make all the throws.

Dak was a dual threat QB in college for a reason.

Can't wait till 11:30 pm Saturday night so I don't have to hear any longer how great the 49ers are blah blah & BLAH!

GB is winning this one.

Excellent post!
KC's offensive line is what handed Mahomes a championship. The second Superbowl appearance when 3 starters on KC's offensive line were out for the Superbowl, the so-called "great" Mahomes laid a gigantic goose egg.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist.....

You guys make it seem like talent is something that's made up..

If talent isn't important, why did Andy Reid move on from Alex Smith?

Same coach.. Same team.. Same playbook. Different results.

Talent matters.

I am apologizing to Pappy, Willie, Rison, Catch, Atlanta, Mountaineer, Khalidi, and the rest of the Dak haters. Dak had the ball at midfield at the two minute warning 1st down, three timeouts. A top 12 quarterback wins that game. San Francisco was also down 3 of their top defensive players. Shoot, Kirk Cousins wins that game.

They didn't have to do much to stop the run. KM did it for them. Zeke got 12 carries and Pollard got 4. That should tell you we weren't serious about trying to run.
We got down early, no team is going to be pounding the ball when they trail the whole game. The issue is that truly great QBs can play well and put up points without a great running game, Dak needs that. Packers fans don't whine when they don't hand it off enough.

That’s why Troy and Mike had the slant down to a science.
