Rough times in San Francisco.

Colin Kaepernick is under fire in San Francisco. By some accounts, he's literally ON fire. A number of 49ers fans have been seen burning the quarterback's jersey.

How could they do this? Didn't he get them to the Super Bowl?

Wish I had a hunnerd bones to burn.

Stupid.

Ya just gotta love this. The mess in SF & Ole DC is just heart warming. It really is making this football season truly enjoyable!

Ah, remember when the read option young QB's had changed the NFL forever and they would never be stopped? RGBust has just about killed his 2nd coach & Crapernick might be playing as poorly as any QB in the league. Priceless!

Meanwhile, in Kansas City....

For many years, I quit hating the 49ers........that is, until Kaeperdouche took over. I seriously cannot stand that kid....

The agony in San Fran. and DC brings tears of joy to my eyes. Add in the Harbaugh debacle and I'm almost out of control with glee.

Now if only we can beat the Eagles and make the playoffs......

Aint it grand!

Now if Pissburg doesnt play in the post season it will be the icing on the cake!

It just doesn't make sense - how could they turn on a QB that brought them to the Super Bowl and NFC Championship game in successive years?

6 years, up to 126 million, 61 mil guaranteed

That's very misleading. The 61 million guaranteed is for INJURY ONLY. The 49ers can cut him at any point and not owe him anything.

The whole burning the jersey is overplayed now.

They should take a note from the Oilers(NHL) and try to throw the jersey on the field. lol

Hello, have not posted here in a while but this situation in San Fran to me is really surprising. They have basically imploded. We have all seen many of their games because they are on TV quite a bit. Just shocking honestly, as well as the Saints -- these teams are simply falling apart. While Brees is older, and it is said because he is smaller that he is not handling the age issue as well as Brady and Manning. Although there is talk about even Manning falling off a bit. Don't know about that, but he is 38.

Who knows, but this issue in San Fran to me is the most surprising. All the talk about "mobile" vs. pocket passers to me makes sense. I will take a pocket passer any day of the week. Rogers may be the only exception, does it all and is still young enough to survive. RG3 is a bust. To me the only good "new" young QB's is Luck. Once he settles in and stops making so many mistakes --well, who knows how far he will go. This of course is all NFC talk, and I am an AFC fan. But know enough to believe either Seattle or Green Bay go to the dance. No one else has a chance the way I see it.

On the AFC side, the next 3 games will determine home field advantage - which is key. Some teams just play better with home field advantage.

So, it is all wait and see. 3 more games boys and girls. We shall see.
