Last week of the season is super weird too. I was watching both games and the Cardinals announcers were talking about the Rams game as much as their own. Emotion is such a huge part of the game and I wonder if there's a connection between the Rams collapse and their understanding that they had just won the division.
I think they're like 6-0 or something vs the rams.Incredible they beat the Rams twice.
The cards with Colt McCoy at QB and no DHopThey also lost twice to both Cards and Seahawks…FWIW.
So lets remove the Eagles because, well, they suck.Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)
But no one points out the 9ers wins...
Here is who the beat this year.
Lions
Eagles (week 2)
Bears
Jags
Vikes
Falcons
Texans
Bengals in OT
and the Rams twice (who they have owned under Mcvay)
That's a who's who of bad NFL teams. The Bengals and Rams are good, but the Bengals have proven to be very up and down.
Looks like a High School schedule.Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

Before you critic the neighbor's house you need to look at your own.....Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

They beat the Rams and Cincinnati both teams are better than any of the teams the Cowboys have beaten this season. Before someone brings up New England they were 2-3 when we beat them.
All these "49ers are not that good" threads could come back to haunt some people.
What if we lose in the playoffs to this team that everyone is trying to convince each other isn't that good?
None of it matters. Every team is 0-0 come playoff time. Difference is you won't have another game the following Sunday if you lose this one.Everyone is so quick to point out that we won 6 games vs the NFC east... (mind you the eagles are a playoff team...)

Panthers were 3-0 with number 1 defense when Dallas beat them. By your logic Dallas beat a really good team because who cares what they did the rest of the seasonThey beat the Rams and Cincinnati both teams are better than any of the teams the Cowboys have beaten this season. Yup and if you are a sound football team those are the types of teams you beat.
No idea why the Rams suck so bad versus SF or a few other teams but that's the only outlier.
Bengals win in OT came with the benefit of a +2 in turnovers.
SF is a sound football team but they are not nearly as talented as Dallas.
And a win regardless of what some cornballs are projecting would be a farily large upset.
Good teams find ways to win, it's not a popularity contest on how beautiful you look playing. Not a single team played great down the stretch without flaws. When you get right down to it, it makes no difference how anyone was playing early in the season it’s how they’re playing entering the playoffs. It comes down to peaking at the right time. The Cowboys have had trouble stringing good performances together the second half of the season. They were able to string wins together but some were ugly.
yup 2-4 in their division 10-7 overall, i mean they got beat by Seattle twice, seatles not better than the eagles and are about on par with WFT this season..? not exactly the team everyone keeps saying to worry about they needed OT to win the last one or they were out and 1-5 in their division. Their division maybe tough but the DC are one of those type teams and you nearly went 1-5 against them.I think they're like 6-0 or something vs the rams.
Guess the two wins vs the Eagles don't count now. Before you critic the neighbor's house you need to look at your own.....
We have 1(Pats) win vs a playoff team this season.......
Burleson made a wise choice leavingThis is exactly right. We went 5-1 down the stretch. And GMFB was saying this EXACT same thing...who did we play...
When before they were giving us props. As I said in another post, it seems they were reading posts right toff of this forum.
GMFB was always up and down on who they follow. But ever since Nate Burleson left, it has been worse.
