1) Penalties almost knocked in half (8)

2) Dallas has yet to promote Tyler Smith to the starting job at left guard. But, again, it’s only a matter of time.

3) Nahshon Wright has had strong off season & start to training camp. But Wright has struggled in games. He had an interference penalty & gave up a number of big plays against the Broncos last week. It was more of the same against the Chargers w/the biggest disappointment being an interference flag on 3rd & 17 in the second quarter on a pass that was 3 yards short of the first down.

4) Jalen Tolbert continues to experience growing pains at receiver. He had a crucial drop in the preseason opener against the Broncos. Last night, he didn’t come up w/a contested catch in the first quarter. And he nullified a TD catch from Rush in the second quarter when he didn’t get both feet in bounds in the back of the end zone. He had plenty of room to make the play.

5) One player who has been noticeable since the start of camp & who is going to make the cuts at DT tougher than expected is Trysten Hill. He's clearly healthy & more comfortable than he’s ever been. And it’s showing up in practice and games. He had a sack & forced fumble that led to a TD in the second quarter last night.

Good call, sis! I think Wright will make the 53, but not a starter yet. Tolbert’s been up and down, but a third round rook like him still makes the team. Think we’ll be fine until Gallup gets back. Still have Lamb, Shultz, Brown, Pollard, Turpin, etc. to hold the fort. The DT rotation looks good (or at least much better). Who goes to PS? Ridgeway?

Ben will be a practice squader. Early in the year we will see McGovern start at LG. We will ease Tyler in later. Tyler may well be a temporary answer at swing. Cuts are going to be very tuff.
u may be right but sometimes a coach goes overboard trying to prove themself right instead of doing whats best for the team. DiNucci shouldnt be on the team-we'll see what MM does

I am not at all impressed with Wright or Ridgeway. They should be PS players. And we do not need to be concerned with any team poaching them.

There are 11 DL worthy of making the roster. I hope they keep them as opposed to keeping a 3rd QB. Our backup QB's are not 3 deep. Heck are they even 2 deep.
They could trade one to a team heavy in OL if they need a DT.

Another option, is Watkins or Basham worth keeping, as they probably will keep Golston since he too was a draft pick.

When you crunch the numbers and consider the player, no way Wright or Ridgeway make the initial 53.

Not if the objective is winning games.

If you thought he was worth a 3rd rounder last year...its stupid to cut him a year after.....that's my stance....I can cut a 6th rounder....but I liked a guy so much that I had a 3rd round grade on him? He experienced some growing pains and has had a great camp but now I want to cut him? Makes no sense.
Richard Sherman was sixth rounder , sois Tom Brady.
Just saying

I'll take it if Hill can be a solid rotational DT. So little talent at DT.
