I'm concerned with how much MM knows the offense this year since he wasn't familiar with the playbook last year. I'm also concerned with his ability to manage the clock.

Dak Prescott has a passer rating of 92.3 with 1,559 yards, 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in 6 games in the playoffs in his career.

As always you Dak hating trolls are wildly off on your claims about our QB.

Tampa game alone he threw for 300 yards and 5 TD's which was arguably the best QB performance in playoff history.
Dak’s play against the 49ers was probably the worst QB performance in the playoffs last year.

If Dak had even been average in that game, we win it. And we would have had a good chance of making it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Bottom line…….Dak crapped the bed in the divisional round.
That is something that CANNOT happen by our “franchise player” in the biggest game of the year. Dak was our weakest link.

Agree with the reasons to be excited.

Also agree with most of concerns but I beleive we'll be okay at LB. Besides, we usually use only two. I have gfreat hopes for Damone Clark and I think he willk breakout this season.

I would replace this concern with the depth at RB. I also believe they all have the same skills while lacking a particular skill that will be critical. They need a physical short yardage back. They also seem to be relying too much on rookies and 2nd year untested free agents.

As always, I'm concerned about the injury epidemic they seem to experience every 3-4 years. This injury bug tragically seems to attack the Cowboys at their most vulnerable positions, nearly wiping out entire squads. However, I must admit that the Cowbosy have more depth at most positions that I've seen since the early 90's.

Wins and losses are a TEAM stat. :p

Maybe one day you will figure that out.
Well, if we wins and losses are team stats, then stop exulting Dak like he's a difference maker.
Maybe one day you'll understand the inherent contradiction between your "team" argument and your incessant defense of Dak as the stat collector. ;)

Dak is a big difference maker.

Heck you cant even make a coherent argument.

Wins and losses ARE a team stat. There is no contradiction in my argument.

Is it already that time of year for recycled Cowboys hype posts?

Next up are "best shape of his life" and "pre-season Super Bowl champs" posts.

What difference did Dak make in the biggest game of the year? (49ers game)

The cherry pick game. A troll favorite.

Anyone can do that.

What difference did Dak make against the Bucs in the biggest game of the year?

300 yards and 5 TD's.

Wait…..what? Cherry pick game?

That was THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE YEAR! How was it cherry picked?

Big time players play big in big games.

Franchise players can NEVER crap the bed in big time games.
Otherwise they are only pretenders.

"franchise players never crap the bed in big games eh? LOL

Why would I bother arguing with a guy like you that just showed to everyone how much he doesn't know football with that one comment?

Educate me.

When was Aikman the primary reason his team lost a playoff game? Or how about Tom Brady? Mahomes?

Franchise players help to carry their team’s to victory. They don’t have to have their teams carry them and overcome their self-inflicted mistakes.

3 years ago Mahomes lost a couple lineman and couldnt even score a TD in the SB. 3 field goals.

Brady? Just got knocked into retirement by Dak and the Cowboys. Got smoke actually. Brady pretty much was mediocre all year long because his Oline was terrible.

Manning, Elway, Favre, Rogers..............all had down games and lost in the playoffs. Its a much longer list.

Sorry, buddy, but petty insults don't win arguments. My arguments are very coherent, and I articulate them quite well, thank you very much. :)

You can't have it both ways. Either all stats are team stats because it's a team game or they're not.

You responded to my initial post by pointing out Dak's playoff stats. Why did you not include with those stats what the TEAM did in helping Dak accumulate those stats? Someone had to block for Dak to complete those passes. Someone had to catch those passes. Someone had to call a pass play. If it's a team game, then all stats accumulated by any player are teams stats whether it's running backs, quarterbacks, receivers, cornerbacks, DTs and DEs, etc.

Yet, you conveniently switch arguments when it comes to wins and losses.

Either it's a team game for Dak as well as everyone else, or it's not.

You made the foolish venture to argue stats, not I.

Simply put, Dak did not do his part in delivering a victory over the Niners. EVEN HE SAID SO!

Until he does, we will always have questions about whether he's THAT quarterback who can lead us to the Super Bowl. PERIODT!

Try not to be so condescending. It doesn't look good on you. :)

I have pointed out how well Dak has played overall in the playoffs. Which was to combat your laughable statement that Dak always chokes or plays poorly in the playoffs.

It was easy to prove you false. All I had to do was post his stats.

Its a team game. Thats not a theory, thats a fact.

Your arguments are laughable and your points drift all over the place in an attempt to find solid ground.

Its not a QB's job to deliver victories. As stated, its a team game. Until you understand this basic point, your arguments will fall short just like this one did.

Overall is the key word. But when it's the drive we need to win the game, he doesn't deliver in the clutch.

If Dak was all that, the Niners wouldn't be announcing to the world that their game plan was to make Dak beat them. If Dak was all that, he wouldn't have said he has to do better, which he said after the Niners loss. Couldn't even muster more than 12 points, yet gave up 2 interceptions and should have had a third. .

And my statement is laughable?

Second, if it's a team game then stop offering Dak's stats. Offer the only stats that matter which are 2-4 (Dak and the Cowboys' playoff record) and the stat that we are 0-2 in advancing to the NFC Championship Game when we had a chance.

A quarterback's job is not to deliver victories? The player that touches the ball on every play and keeps the ball longer than any player on the field; it isn't his responsibility to deliver victories?

I don't want to see you post another Dak stat - no attempts-completion-touchdown stats, no Dak-led comebacks, no win-loss records involving Dak as a starting quarterback. No individual stats since it's a team game.

You pick stats at your convenience. You'll be among the first to pull stats if the Cowboys start out with a 4-0, 10-1 record with Dak as well as the first one to criticize every other player except Dak if and when we lose in the playoffs.

We're on to your shtick. That's why you're in an argument with multiple people in this thread, oh thou defender of all things Dak.

Reading is fundamental. Answer the QUESTION!

When were those players the PRIMARY REASON that they lost a BIG game. Give me the games and the dates. Dont give me excuses.

Dak’s oline was good enough to beat the 49ers. But Dak crapped himself.

When have those other players ever crapped themselves when the season was on the line?
I’m waiting for specifics……

LOL.............More lies. Your blanket statements are easily destroyed. Never?

First 3 years in the league Dak lead the NFL in last drive wins. Your lie has just been destroyed!!

Is it any wonder all you trolls can talk about is cherry picking Niners games?

And no the QB's job is to run the offense. A QB cannot deliver victories without the help of team mates.

Again you show you don't understand football. I'm not hear to teach you.
