No way Turpin plays in that game. His next return will be against the Buccaneers.

I think Wright should be cut, but they won't. My fear is they will keep him, since he was a 3rd round pick. Plus with Lewis having a hamstring issue, they feel they need that extra CB. Though that guy should be Bland over Wright.

Word on the street is that the coaching staff looks at Wright as a CJ Goodwin replacement which could save his career. Apparently in practice Wright has been a monster in special teams drills and we saw flashes of that last season.

I sure hope they find a spot for Bland on this roster though. There is a lot to like there.

There are 5 names I never even noticed playing in the last two games.

Mosley was all over the place in the 2nd half of the Chargers game, good and bad.

Big Cat had sack or near sack.

Empey played much of the 2nd half.

Brown was injured in game 1.

That's the only way I could see it happening. And I'd be OK with that because we know what Goodwin is as a corner and it's all bad. At least Wright still has some potential.

It is a little early. I didn't include him on a 53 I just did because I've got too many DBs to keep, but if we were to replace Goodwin with him, it would make sense to go with the younger guy you just drafted a couple of years ago.

It is a little early. I didn't include him on a 53 I just did because I've got too many DBs to keep, but if we were to replace Goodwin with him, it would make sense to go with the younger guy you just drafted a couple of years ago.

Yeah Goodwin is interesting. I’ve been trying to cut him for two years now. Nothing against him I just don’t think you need a special teams ace who can’t play offense or defense.

Yeah Goodwin is interesting. I’ve been trying to cut him for two years now. Nothing against him I just don’t think you need a special teams ace who can’t play offense or defense.

He's just so good at it that I think Fassel fights to keep him. I see him as the type you are always looking to churn since you want your special-teamers to also be able to contribute at a position.
