Eagles are going 14-3 at worst imo. Even going undefeated the rest of the way probably won’t be enough for Dallas.
There is a high probability that you are right. However, that probability is nowhere near 100%.

Dallas's Super Bowl history is based on defying the odds. The 1970 and 1975 seasons are prime examples.

Back then the NFC East was five teams, the current four plus the St Louis Cardinals.

The St Louis Cardinals had some very dominant years in the mid-70's thanks to their HC, Don Coryell. there was also George Allen and the Washington "Can't-say-it -anymores"

And, yet, the Cowboys went to three Super Bowls from 1975 to 1978. there was one wilcard team per conference back then.

The 5 seed is not a bad way to go into the playoffs. Beating the NFC South Champ is very doable.
The 5 seed likely means going to the super bowl requires a win at SF and a win at Philly. The best case outcome was to get Phil and SF to play each other and get the winner at home. The 5 seed leaves Dallas with a very narrow chance of making the super bowl.

If they get there, it will be a cake walk though. NFC >>>>>>>>> AFC this year.

Yea, not ideal, but if we're left with the 5th seed then playing Philly and SF in that order gives the chance of the NFC North rep (probably Lions) to defeat the 9ers.

We just need to avoid the 9ers at all costs (or for as long as we can), I dont know how we plan offensively for them, the last two games has seen their defense are able to adapt or more accurately dictate our time of possession.

Cowboys play Washington and Seahawks before they play the Eagles. Eagles currently have Chiefs, Bills and 49ers before we play. So how on earth is the division "wrapped up" or are you conceding to the 49ers?
Well this post didnt age well just like most of your other blind homer posts

Maybe next time actually think first?

Yes. It is winnable. They’re all winnable. The problem is you have to win just about all of them. And a lot of them are also loseable. And you can’t lose many, maybe 1.
If they want the #1 seed, they will have to earn it and win all these tough games down the stretch.

The Eagles just beat the Chiefs and will likely beat the Bills and 49ers.

With the run game Detroit has a long with the young energy they play with I really doubt we beat them. After watching a fair amount of their games I've thought this for awhile.
Dallas can score 40 on them.

The Eagles weren't that impressive. The Chiefs led every stat except the score. They beat themselves with two turnovers in the red zone and a dropped pass in the end zone. The Chiefs should have had 21 more points.

The Eagles looked anything but unbeatable.

And yet, when it mattered most, when Mahomeee had a chance to win the game, the defense stepped up and forced a critical sack/intentional grounding leaving the Chiefs with a crazy 4th and 25 play. Yes, they dropped a potentially winning TD with 1:45 to play, but the Eagles would have then gotten possession and who knows what happens. Going into Arrowhead on a cold and rainy night and coming away with a W is the key, which is what the Eagles did. Everyone keeps doubting the Eagles because they aren't beating teams by 30 points every week, but point differential doesn't matter, only wins and losses.

Cowboys won’t win the division. The 5 seed is basically wrapped up.

Looking ahead, best case scenario is lions get the 1 seed.

It’s literally better for us to lose to Detroit in the regular season if it helps them get the 1 seed

@nfc south winner followed by @detroit is by far best case scenario for our playoff road

These regular season games are borderline meaningless for us
Winning the division is still possible, but we would need some help from other teams. We need to beat the Eagles, and we need someone else to also beat them.

It’s crazy how hall think you know how the next two months are going to pan out. If you’re this good, you should be at a sports book every Sunday and making millions selling your tips. Vegas is the best, and they are still only right about 60% of the time. If the season were ending today, fine. But with 7 games remaining, YALL ARE TOOOOO freaking funny.

That's interesting. I like our chances against the Saints in the 1st game.

I think our only hope is if Philly goes on a 4 game skid which is unlikely.
We would need them to end up 12-5. We have 3 losses all to conference

They would need to lose vs the Chiefs, Bills, and 49ers. I think they go 1-2. If they go 1-3 over their next 4 games I think we win the division. However we still play the Lions, Seahawks and Bills. That Cardinals game is whats really biting us in the behind right now and we lost to them already.
If you lose 3, and your opponent loses 4, WTH do conference wins or losses matter? Not saying those teams won’t win or lose again, it’s the nfl, nobody knows what will happen week to week.
