The tag doesn’t effect next season.T
Tagging Tank doesn’t seem wise to me with all the UFA’s we have after next season. Lots of them. Big names.

Yeah see that’s moronic to me. If you let Lawrence go you don’t sign Earl. You would sign Earl to go with Lawrence. It would be our luck to finally land a quality safety but only after losing our premier pass rusher.
I stopped reading after that.
I don't think Thomas could have done much for us against the Rams. WE got beat on both sides of the LOS, right up the middle. A free safety doesn't help fix that, to me.
Yep. We will get better by players improving. So says the GM.
I can't wait to see the Rams faces next year when our players improve and theirs don't.
I think we tag him so he can’t talk with other teams and we get a deal done right b4 the deadline like we did with dez. Why? Do you believe the Jets won't pursue him?

Absolutely. It's a shame nobody else can see this. This would allow Taco Charlton to flourish.
Dude, He wore the wrong cleats. Had he wore the right cleats, he would have had 8 sacks minimum.Well, I'm going to say this and it's not going to be popular, I know, but Lawrence made very little impact against the Rams. He was matched up against Havenstein, who is an average RT in this league, at best IMO, and he got handled. Don't miss understand me, I do think that DLaw is a pretty darn good player but is he good enough to get paid the way he wants and expects to? That, I don't know.
We were probably an aging pro bowl caliber safety away from playing in the NFCC this week. Two of the biggest plays against the Rams never happen this week with a guy like ET on the field.
This would allow Taco Charlton to be rubbish.
You mean the guy sitting at home with a broken leg?
But he already has said he will mind so not sure where you are getting thatI predict we tag Tank again and he wont mind at all.

I like the idea of signing Thomas to an incentive laced deal, but we have to sign a run stopping DT to complete this D. We got gashed up the middle!

Earl Thomas only makes sense if he was the missing piece to a Super Bowl run. We all know Dallas needs more than an aging Pro Bowl-caliber safety.
