I'm sure you will see some. I do think there is a fine line of having a physical practice and having your team get beat up. I don't want them just doing walk throughs but then I also do not want daily beatings to key members of this team that could cost us the season.

Bah!

Jimmy Johnson would've cut Newman a looooong time ago

Ehhh... I'd rather Cricket hit like Alan Ball. You know, the special teams guys and guys who need to be motivated to get physical.

No need to be subjecting our glass-encased pro bowl caliber 31-year old CB who was the difference maker in our pass defense last year.

I have NEVER wanted Newman on punt returns. The potential loss is NOT worth the potential gains. Luckily since he has hands of stone for catching passes anyway it should not matter.

what the hell is wrong with cricket?

as much as that kid plays with passion you don't do it at the expense of one of our best players.

someone needs to smack that moron across the back of his head.

Newman is ok,

roy williams is back wearing number 11, lots of dropped passes from ogletree and julian hawkins;

choice looks crisp;

looks like hodge is getting closer to be back on the field, hodgeis working closely with the trainers

deon anderson just pancaked marcus spears, woohoo,

finally austin is catching some tough passes, looks like in midseason form

choice just broke through line of scrimmage for a huge run, then he howled after the big run, he is enthusiastic kid, that rubs off on your team

another player i told you zoners to keep your eye on is michael hawkins cb but he is making himself noticed by players and coaches and fans; yes indeed zoners we may have the best cornerback tandem we have had with
newman, jenkins, scandrick, brown, mickens, hawkins

these are some more notes from practice yesterday;
in 7 on 7 romo missed witten by 10 yards, whats up with that zoners?

Bennett slipped on a route, slow to get up but is ok
the rookies, mike hamlin, deangelo and mickens are doing great, interceptioins with one hand clutches, very impressive

first pass from mcgee went 50 yds plus to stanback again, looks like stanback is surprising people, maybe now he can stay healthy

irvin and the moose are watching practice;

Excellent notes on the practice. Thanks.

Hopefully they find someone else to put back there on Punts and can quit putting Newman back there.
