understood. Just saying they are to be reckoned with. I want to see what kind of energy and fight we have, no matter the outcome of the game. When things don't go well, how will we respond as the game goes? Will we phone it in or show some dang grit? Now if we go in there and get the W, that COULD be a sign of what this team can be going forward.the browns like all other nfl teams will not have a carry over from last year its a new year
your not wrong. And when we win it’ll be “it’s just the browns”
i always laugh when people talk about Jimmy. The rules of the game are so different that all pro and HOF players from the past wouldnt go 3 games without getting suspended. You think Ronnie Lott and Lynch would be able to be the stars they were in todays game? not a chance.I'd like to see the Cowboys employ the Jimmy philosophy of playing hard nosed defense and not making mistakes on offense (ie turnovers). Of course this requires a sudden transformation of our run defense and our run offense,,,, and Dak to keep calm. Three characteristics we haven't shown for many moons, but if we do, Whoa Nellie!
yep, I know. But lets see how all 3 phases of our team handles it all.You do know that stadium will be 40% Cowboys fans? You do know Dalla salso had a top rated defense last year? You do know Dallas was also a playoff team last year?
Boy, I sure hope MM and Zimmer are reading your posts so they can become aware of the situation. Do you actually stop to think about what you said there? You hope guys that have been in the freaking NFL for 30 years are aware of something? Do you actually think you are aware of something that they are nor aware of? You arent serious, are you?
I remember going to the season opener in 2014 and getting smacked by the niners. For the rest of the week all we heard was that Dallas is probably the worst team in the entire league. They followed that up winning 6 in a row, including a road win against the vaunted Seahawks who were in the middle of a long home winning streak. By the way, I was at that game also and it was AWESOME. So that is a perfect example of why I go to games, no matter the cost, because they are damn fun.so i guess after the first game we all just stop watching its all going to be over
Again I never said Cleveland was elite. I said I still think/hope we beat them.because you on this thread about cleveland use the word elite in your sentence.go read that's on you don't say that you don't think we can beat the elite ,talking about game one against Cleveland...
And I said what I said 'cause we're discussing Cleveland we're discussing game one and nobody knows for sure what team we have,, that's pretty much most teams in the NFL you go into the season we play one game at a time and at some point maybe mid season you figure out your identity like what you probably are gonna be at the end of the year...Again I never said Cleveland was elite. I said I still think/hope we beat them.
I only mentioned elite teams because that's what really matters and I don't believe we are there.
It's on you for being so quick to get your panties wadded up that you felt compelled to play fan police before digesting what was actually written. Go ahead and show me where I said we suck as well. How bout calm down?
Unfortunately you don't make the rules and some of us are capable of juggling more than a singular subject at a time. And I said what I said 'cause we're discussing Cleveland we're discussing game one and nobody knows for sure what team we have,, that's pretty much most teams in the NFL you go into the season we play one game at a time and at some point maybe mid season you figure out your identity like what you probably are gonna be at the end of the year...
SureSorry boys, but I'm not feeling it for Sunday.
1. Dallas was 2-4 last year when facing winning teams...before Packers in playoffs
2. Cleveland had 2nd best defense last year (DVOA rating)
3. The dog pound is loud and emotional & Browns were 8-1 at home last year
4. Guyton facing Myles Garrett in his very first game is too much
5. Dallas has lost 8 of it's last 11 games on grass
6. Cleveland has one of the most complete rosters in NFL
7. First game of season = sloppy. Cleveland can be damp and windy.
Strong argument.Sorry boys, but I'm not feeling it for Sunday.

You're grasping for straws with some of those "reasons" we lose. The loud and emotional dog pound is a weak reason. They do have a good defense but so do we. Thankfully their "complete roster" doesn't include a QB that's good under pressure. Watson will panic and give up the ball. I agree it will be an ugly game but it doesn't have to be a loss. It can be the ugliest win we have had in a long while. Go CowboysSorry boys, but I'm not feeling it for Sunday.

Why do you hate the Cowboys so muchSorry boys, but I'm not feeling it for Sunday.

OP intentionally omitted that reason8. Quarterback
nah Ill pass on your backtrack...Unfortunately you don't make the rules and some of us are capable of juggling more than a singular subject at a time.
It was real obvious when my first sentence said I still think/hope to win, and that we have a good team I wasn't in anyway saying we sucked a couldn't win.
You should've passed from go.nah Ill pass on your backtrack...
Why put so much credence in what just a few will be saying? Don't understand why it matters. And when we win it’ll be “it’s just the browns”
Why do you continuously clock into threads and proclaim that we shouldn't be talking about this? And I said what I said 'cause we're discussing Cleveland we're discussing game one and nobody knows for sure what team we have,, that's pretty much most teams in the NFL you go into the season we play one game at a time and at some point maybe mid season you figure out your identity like what you probably are gonna be at the end of the year...
