So I used a mock draft machine to see different ways we could draft this year. I tried to draft different players but you will see I drafted the same players a couple times. I didn't do any trades just to keep it easy and the picks are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th comp, 7th.

I bet one of your 8 mocks will have 4 of your picks drafted in the first two rounds of the real draft. That is why I will never understand mock drafts.

1. Kinlaw
2. Diggs
3. Dugger
4. Elliott
5. Jackson
6. Bowden
7. Breeland

Kinlaw, Diggs, Bowden, and Dugger I think would start. Elliott would be a good rotation player and Jackson/Breeland fill holes in the roster but I’m not particularly high on them.

1 is probably the best with Murray a 1st rounder and Delpit/Elliott early 2nds in my eyes.

Not a fan of last two but the rest are good.

The only single pick I found to be out of line was Murray lasting to 51 in the first one.

Where did he go in the others? Wouldnt shock me if he was gone by 17.

If we get him at 51 we should all be back flipping.

Why would we want a LB in the first two rounds? All that means is one of the other high investments at LB is coming off the field the majority of the time.

Agree, IMO bringing Joe Thomas back means they aren't going to draft a LB high.

I'm also interested to see what Gifford does this year.

The guy is a good player and has been mocked to be gone...almost always around 18-22.

I'd be happy getting that player at 51.

Besides, it's not like we are overly stacked at that spot and theres little room for improvement.

But he's not making your team any better, unless you're going to cut bait on LVE or Jaylon.

It makes a ton of sense if LVE can't play. It makes very little sense if he can.

Maybe not immediately.

But Lee is near the end, who knows about LVEs neck, and theres little depth behind them.

Hey, I'm not saying LB specifically is a priority right now, but I will say that if a player rated in the 18-22 range is there at 51, you have to take him.

Otherwise you're completely drafting for need which is widely understood as no bueno.

I see what you mean to a point....and if a similar situation came up where that player was an interior OL, or a RB....they would be buried, but a first round LB at 51 would be a score for this team right now.
