I think Irvin is on to something. This season is all but over and the players know it.

And just think they fooled you, me and some more us Cowboy fans last week with that last minute win in Pittsburgh last week!!!!:banghead::laugh:

I'll keep saying it.

This was a lost season from the start. The "all in" comments were just propaganda meant to continue fan interest and revenue. They let go all of those people and didn't replace them. They kept MM on the last year of his deal. If you didn't see a down year coming, I don't know what to say.

Now the team knows its screwed and is making business decisions. No reason to get yourself hurt over a team that isn't even trying to win.

Next year is going to be a problem too but at least things will start turning with a new coach and hopefully a new RB.

Its kind of ridiculous that a fair percentage of Dak's new deal is going to be used up on years where the team isn't even trying to win. Like, what was the point?
Agree completely

Exactly, it’s Irvs team more than any fans, for what he gave to this franchise he has every right to criticize this garbage team right now.
But since Jerry got Irvin's family out of poverty, Irvin refuses to put most of the blame where it belongs. He probably knows that most of the problem is Jerry and his culture but there's no way he'll admit it.
To be fair though, the team gets its share of the blame because they're playing like they're not interested in winning and are focusing on other things.

Likely true, knows Jerry is the problem but doesn’t want to hate him since he did so much for Irv. we are all frustrated, he just has a bigger platform to express it. Jerry is overallqrong, but the players and coaches are too, their effort, drive…..lacking.

Michael is probably being paid by the Cowboys because the Michael we’ve all gotten to know would have gone off about how pitiful this team is, but he was way too kind to them.

Many wanted to tank, well be happy....it's happening, weather by choice or not. You are getting what you wanted. Many didn't want to tank, they are the ones that should be pissed and I'm right there with them.
Have you ever gone to a game in AT&T Stadium. Just in concession stands alone, Jerry must make $4 million a game. That's not counting tickets and parking. He continues to put garbage on the field and his money will dry up quick.

Dak is responsible?
Dak has been the common denominator for the last 4 years. The Cowboys at times had played very strong defense only to find Dak MIA. He doesn't have mental ability to compete in the playoffs with the best teams. Just look at those 49er games where the defense fought their hearts out. The MO of SB teams is avg defense with elite offense. Dak doesn't bring that.

Dak spends more time picking out his suits on game day than he does all week on the game.

At least Romo just put on his cap backward, before having to come in and bail out the coaching staff.
Well said… did you see photos of him before the lions game???
This guy looked like he was walking the catwalk on his way to a GQ photo shoot

It will dry up if everyone starts to not go to games, buy merchandise etc…
But hey apparently I’ve been called a hater

I would say tearing down your house and building another one in the middle of the season right before big game against a top team is definitely making offseason plans
How can you say that about Dak???
I mean he did say after the game that he is learning… 9 years of hearing the same broken record.

But Dak lovers are going to gang up on you throwing out all those stats of Dak compared to everyone else.

Dak has a higher winning percentage than Romo. Try again.

Yeah but that avg def hung with the 49ers. Only constant I see is JJ.

Plan 2025 : Defensive heavy draft as well as a feature RB .

New HC OC & DC & staff

At the right price bring Dowdle back as a complimentary weapon to a feature back so you don’t have to chum the UDFA waters for another back .

On the free agent front sign a significant defensive piece who is known for tough hard nosed play at whatever position .

For the remainder of 2024 players like Leupke Flournoy Schoonmacher need significant reps . Are they players that can help down the road or not .

Cooks at WR get an injury settlement let go and Elliott should be gone by the SF kickoff . What future does he have here ??

For goodness sakes design some Prescott rolling pockets get him moving .

Lol yeah remember the good old days when wearing your hat backwards and playing a round of golf meant you weren't focused on playing football?
Now it's strip clubs, house rebuilds and endless commercials
i'm not calling you a moron, but i am strongly implying it.
