The clock on that two month prognosis started when he hurt it Labor Day weekend. That brings him back in the middle of training camp. He won't miss the first regular season came. That's just wishful thing on your behalf.

It's what I heard man...lol

Stop spewing lies man. :D

The rook is not overrated by any stretch of the imagination. He is the real deal.

I'm entitled to my opinion until he proves me wrong. It's not a lie just because you disagree.

Am I the only one who wants DMC on this team? You can't have too many rb's........a couple will get banged up at some point.

I don't want Zeke being forced to do too much in his first season, especially the first 8 games or so. Let him ease into it.........

This. EE needs seasoning.

I think McFadden was on this team the minute he wasnt a ZB back or play STs.

I don't like going out and handing 6th round picks roster spots, but they want STs out of that 3rd HB spot and he plays them

The player who's most likely to benefit the most from DMC's absence will be Darius Jackson.

He's certain to be offered reps in the RB rotation that he would never have gotten otherwise.

I don't wish injury upon ANYONE. Never have. Never will. That said, DMC's idiotic faux pas may be a true blessing for the success of our beloved Dallas Cowboys folks. Zeke the FREAK will now be firmly entrenched as the man and doing so will allow him to properly prepare for an impact season. More reps. More comfort. I see our offense returning to juggernaut status behind an inspired line that gets to block for a freakish running back along with a QB & WR that are both excited to return to all pro form from injury.

This dumb save by McFadden IMO is a real blessing and will set us up for a playoff run. He pretty much made the decision for the coaches.

WIth an average defense? lol.

Yes because, as I have stated many times since the draft, our return to a ball control throat punching offense is going to keep the defense fresher and on the sidelines more than they were last year. This will make the defense better.

There was pretty much no chance Zeke went into the season and wasn't prepared to start anyway. Not necessarily a blessing, but it's a convenient reason to switch gears at RB.

Like I said, more reps. More comfort. The additional reps Zeke will get by being the one instead of sharing the load may make all the difference between having Romo on his back again and having him healthy all season. The more Zeke sees, the higher the probability that he will be able to react to the blitzes when they come. In terms of read/react, you would prefer anyone playing their position on the field to be clearly in react mode because they have seen so many variations that the reading piece is elementary. That comes with film study and reps.

McFaddens not getting cut, he's making 2 mil a year, that's nothing, esp for the fourth leading rusher. Plus it's a contract year for him, I'm sure he's looking to get another multi year deal from some other team next year since He won't be back. And get a compensation pick

I have a different take. Zeke was going to get his work in regardless. What this will do is give DJ a bigger opportunity to prove his worth and go along way in determine if Morris can fill the 2 spot.
We know who McFadden is. He's solid at best and now knows the offense.
