A Crazy, Crazy Idea About Zeke

First off, I know this will never happen. But I wonder what would happen IF:

-The Cowboys let Ezekiel Elliott into the stadium and suit him up for Sunday. Would the officials stop the game until he left the field? What type of punishment would the NFL hand down?

-Let's take this a step further. What if the Cowboys, as a team, refuse to play if Elliott cannot? They could really put the NFL in a bind- the Sunday afternoon late game is the CBS "anchor"- the real money maker.

I know this is crazy. I'm just really angry that Zeke, by the laws of this country in which we live, is a free man. However, the NFL is denying him the chance to do his job for six weeks because they think they are above law enforcement and have the legal system eating out of their hand.

Please. Stop.

The process has been a farce, as we know, but the Personal Conduct Policy doesn't require a charge (much less a conviction).

Cowboys players are bound by the CBA, as is the Organization. They're not going to hold the NFL hostage Sunday.

2020, that's the year. Union is ready for a fight/work stoppage and have stated no extension to agreement without major changes.

It's a ways out. The paychecks for all the players in the league isn't currently at stake. The closer players get to losing that first paycheck, the weaker the support will be to hold out because most players don't need a rule change. They get by just fine with the rules as they are written. Not sure how many players are willing to give up their paychecks so a handful of guys can engage in behavior that is at best irresponsible, and at worst criminal.

If I was single... I'd probably get in trouble over that before it's too late also...

Maybe... I think this particular woman to be very good looking, but let's not judge my taste, okay?
At least I'm liking girls... not that there's anything wrong with the other side.
Let thou do what thou wilt. I shall do what I do.

I could have sworn your idea was going to end in suiting Zeke up in Rod Smiths jersey.
