Bledsoe couldnt get the ball to glenn that day in front of woodson and romo couldnt get it to hurd in front of bailey yesterday.

To me its even more of a problem that the coaching staff thought the best chance to win the game was to send Sam Hurd after Champ Bailey.

From top to bottom this organization just can't get out of their own way, and its felt that way for years and years.

A little perspective on the overreaction.

Look at this thread ..... and look at the posters and what they are saying about the subject of that thread.

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63678

Look familiar?

There are hundreds of threads just like these ...... and the same people always react the same way.

Everyone has the right to be upset about the way this team is playing...... and everyone has the right to express it.

EVERYONE ..... including those that prefer to have hope.

Just remember that and do not let the few, very loud people who always over react and always jump to negative conclusions, get you down.

There is reason to be hopeful, there is reason to believe that this team, with the right motivation, can turn this season around.

There are still 12 games left to play.

And by wednesday there will be 5-10 more threads started on this so called lost confidence by the fans and how our team will bounce back.

We played like crap once again and our coaching staff sucked once again. The bright spot was our Defense played good except for the end. And we have some leaders on defense ( brookings Bradie). Atleast that is getting turned around( two solid games).

The negatives that cannot and should not be ignored are the caoching staff( garret, wade, Wr coach, Qb coach everybody) and Romo. You just can't put a spin on that, you just can't.

Not spinning anything .... I also want a new head coach. And unless that new headcoach is Garrett I want an entire new staff (with the exception of special teams and o-line)

I never played football so I really can't say, but I have heard countless former players say the team takes on the personality of the coach.

I don't feel we can properly judge this team until we get a real coach.

It is almost as if Dallas could hire a consulting firm of sorts that consists of a top D Cord and O Cord and just fax the game plan in every week and let the players execute.

Xs and Os do not have me all that upset. It would appear on the outside looking in that their is no leadership at the HC position. Actually, I believe there is some leadership but it is more of the detrimental type than anything else.

Couldn't agree more. I had some hope and optimism at the start of the season that maybe things would be a little different with a more serious training camp, but the bottom line is this is pretty much the same group of knuckleheads who drove out Parcells. And the same coaching staff that continually finds ways to outsmart themselves. And the same "GM" who is still learning on the job 15 years after Jimmy.

Wake me when Holmgren or Shanahan get here.

It won't happen. Everyone knows that the coach and his "authority" can and will be circumvented by a visit to Jerry's office by just about everyone. Until we get another "buck stops here" coach that refuses to be undermined this team will continue to be an underachieving circus.

Unfortunately, that won't happen until Jerry is out of the loop. We may not win another playoff game (let alone championship) for another 10+ years.

I've been a Cowboys fan since 1965. I'm sorry, but I just got spoiled. They had 20 years of non-losing football, going to the Super Bowl 5 times in the '70s. Then came the '90s & 3 more trips to the Big Show. I used to watching winning football from the Dallas Cowboys. I will accept nothing less. This is NOT winning football.

This team has the horses to win it all, which makes it harder to watch. They don't lack talent, they lack heart. Stupid penalties and mediocre play cannot be tolerated. Jones needs to crack the whip & get these players worried about their jobs.

The "don't have a meltdown" threads always turn into the biggest meltdown threads.

I've been around long enough to have figured that out by now. :D

I said that in the 6th line of my original post ...... I was just saying for people to not let the usual suspects get them down ..... because those same guys react the same way to every thing.

You seriously let the thoughts an opinions of people about a pro sports team, given on an internet message board, "get you down"?

Wow!

Except this is the same group of guys that finish games the exact same way and find ways to lose instead of ways to win.

I love this team. I love alot of the players. I love everything about romo.

Having said that, I have no doubt this season is going downhill. I also have no doubt we can not compete with ny and philly and we basically are already out of the race in the east.

I cant imagine what makes any fan expect different results.

When bradie james sits in the locker room and says We dont know how to do it, that tells us all we need to know. They dont know how or what they are missing, why they are making mistakes nor how to correct them. And the people in charge have no idea either.

Damn, I hate it when you are correct. Not only correct but brutally correct.

The complacsent poster who makes such a post about "overreating" after a Cowboys game this dismal, this lethargic, this uninspired is a poster who somehow wants to "be different" and present an optimistic, pollyanaish view.

But the reality here is that there can not be an overreaction, just a reaction.
And that reaction is based on what we, the fans, saw Sunday.

Don't preach to us about complaining. Preach to your idol, Wade, and his overrated, overpaid and underinspired players.
The fans didn't play this horrible game, the players did.

On a nice note, you wear that accessory so well around your neck. As always, good effort and carry on.

The thing about always saying things suck is that you are eventually going to be right.

Just because the "usual suspects" have cried wolf in the past is no reason to immediately write them off right now. Remember, the wolf did eventually show up.

I could care less if someone is optimistic or pessimistic about things. Both are entitled to it but I really don't have a lot of respect for the small group of eternal sunshiners that run about chastising and criticizing the other side. It has become more than opinion for them. Almost like its their job to rid the world of "negative nancys", they bump every thread with sarcastic remarks and shoot down any poster who doesn't propagate the "all is well" mantra.

Not really a big fan of it. I think its pretty ridiculous to just crap in someone's face because they want to be pissed about things.

I'm hoping if we miss the playoffs this year (and it was so tempting to type "when" there...) Jerry has another come to Jesus moment like he did with Parcells.

He WILL catch absolute hell from the media for sticking with Wade this year if we don't make it, and if this team starts tanking I could see him having trouble selling out his Taj MaJones.

He'll need a high profile coach to get fannies back in the seats.
