A loss Sunday will send us spiraling

Ridiculous. There is not a great chance we win the division even if we win and add to that the fact that SF, not Philly, has established themselves as the team to beat. A win would be great and a nice confidence builder if we face them in the playoffs, but to say a loss would send us spiraling is silly and comes of like a drama queen type comment
Philly is still a team we need to beat. Maybe two more times

Holy overrection.
Honestly, I feel there's some truth. If they lose to the Eagles with 1st place division on the line, how can anyone say it won't have an affect with their mental? The whole "Can't beat the good teams" talk will heat up and rightfully so

lets go get that w...enough of these losses in prime time spots to good / great teams - time to make this year different.
Yep. SF was supposed to be our time....and we missed it. We have another chance here....several in the coming weeks. Its really a remarkable opportunity.

They can instantly erase in one month decades of disappointment. It doesnt have to be a super bowl win. Lets play strong and at least sniff it.:)

Could easily be true with road games against the Bills and Dolphins next.

This is why I'm not counting on a playoff berth yet.
I'm pretty sure Dallas is guaranteed a playoff birth at this point. We have tie breakers over Seattle and LA.

A loss by Philthy will send them spiraling.
I doubt it their last 4 games are Seahawks, Giants, Cardinals, and the Giants.

Even if Dallas beats them it will be an uphill battle for Dallas to win the division. Dallas will have to win out and hope Seattle can beat the Eagles.

There’s no sugarcoating a loss to Nick Siriani on Sunday NF.

It would undo Dak mvp talk , it would validate the notion we can’t step it up vs the big boys and it would destroy our fragile faith in Mike McCarthy.

Ontop of a loss - we’re staring directly at matchups vs Buffalo vs Detroit vs Miami.

This sucker has only just begun folks - the season is about to get hotter than your mother’s cast iron skillet.

This coming off a five alarm fire of a game vs a pretender in Seattle.

Are we up for it ? Do we land Shaq Leonard ?
Can we survive MM’s bizarre clock mgmt moves ? Kicking xp’s when he should go for two ? Passing up lead changing FG’s for 4th and 3 gambles ?
Can we survive our OL run block game that employs a Landry era OL coach?
Can our safeties survive ?

The entire future of this franchise will become crystal clear in 6 weeks - MM , DQ , Dak extension.
Nothing is set in stone.

Hotter than your Mother’s skillet on a Sunday morning.
Another negative take SMDH

Are you people kidding me? Seriously?

You don’t think this is a massive measuring stick into the mental toughness of Mike McCarthy, and his quarterback?

Get lawst if you think this is just another game as some of you painting it.

If I had a nickel for every time somebody predicted that "a loss will send them spiraling" or "a win will build momentum/confidence that will carry them" and it didn't happen, I'd be a very rich man. That's not how it works.

The Cowboys are probably right in the mix with the Eagles/Bills/Lions/Dolphins, meaning they'll win some and lose some. If the Cowboys are better than that, they'll win more of them, and if they're a tick below those teams, they'll lose more of them. The outcomes of prior games will not influence what happens in later games in any meaningful way (barring injury, of course).

Hey, why wait to see how things go before diving into doomsday scenarios? We should start now, right? Who knows, the team might beat Philly and we would have missed our chance.

So, the "entire future of this franchise will become crystal clear in 6 weeks"? A little melodramatic, aren't you?

The cowboys missing the playoff is nearly impossible at this point. With 5 left they hold a 3 game lead and hold H2H tiebreakers on the first two teams out (LA/Sea)

The cowboys could lose out and still be likely to grab a playoff spot.

Green Bay still plays Minnesota this year. Seattle is about to plays SF/philly back to back.

Rams play Baltimore and SF still

It’s going to be really tough for 3 of the 4 6 win teams in the nfc to get to 9 wins to force a tiebreaker that forces the cowboys out.

Overreaction. If the team can’t handle or rebound from a loss, then they aren’t the team you think they are. Furthermore, they also wouldn’t be any better than all the other wildcard teams that we’ve assumed Dallas will stay ahead of.

They will be fine, but this isn’t going to be a loss. 38-17. Dub.

We are currently the fifth seed and most likely will still be the fifth seed at the end of the the regular season even if we win on Sunday.

So in the big picture, I don't believe it will make much of a difference, if we are the 5th seed at 14-3 or 12-5. The playoffs is a different season.
Key is staying healthy and playing well at the end of the year.
