I have always said the philly fans are the worst in sports. They boo their own when they come to town even.
I've only been to Philly once and didn't see the entire city, so I could be wrong. I did enjoy Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, etc. but outside of that the city was filthy and the people were rude. Never want to go back and I wouldn't live there for anything.Brandon4Cowboys;2246781 said:what's really sad is that Philly is a really cool town in and of itself. what with Independence Hall and the American Philosophical Society, and the sporting stadiums are beautifully designed. It is the typical Philly fan that gives the city a black eye.
And they are a glorious success in that regard. They are obnoxious, scumbags.Big Dakota;2246791 said:It's a badge of honor for most fans to be scum.

My buddies dad has season tickets to the Packers and he said their fans are really cool to him when he goes to a Cowboys game. We are going to drive over for that game in 2 weeks as his dad gave us 2 tickets.
And ya, i don't trust the Mets as far as i can throw them. The Phils on the other hand never quit. Good luck![]()

I hope you have a good time in Packerland. They were very humble when I went up there awhile ago, and didn't bother me at all. You'll have a good time. Except dealing with those ridiculous cheese hats. Some people got annoyed with me at times because those things kept making me laugh.
Good luck to the Mets too. It'll be a nail biter all the way through until they can figure out how to hit Johan's dang change up.![]()

Everyone who's been to a ballpark knows that there are always going to be a number of fans who swill endless amounts of overpriced beer, scream obscenities at the players and generally make idiots out of themselves; but in Philadelphia overindulgence in alcohol cannot explain the antisocial behavior that is seen to be inherent in every sport attended by Philadelphia fans.
In tonight's game between the Mets and Phillies, Mets shortstop Jose Reyes was stealing second and on the head first slide, bashed his head into the knee of Phillies second baseman Chase Utley. Reyes lay prone at second base, dirt caked on his head and manager WillieRandolph and trainer Ray Ramirez converging around him to make sure he wasn't seriously hurt. After a few minutes on the ground, Reyes rose and, still seeming somewhat dazed, was able to regain his senses to the point where he was able to stay in the game. The Phillies fans, ignoring the etiquette that is accepted throughout sports, booed Reyes as he rose to return to the game. The Phillies fans are known to be the toughest in all of sports, but isn't cheering a player getting injured and booing when he isn't seriously hurt seen to be over the line even for the drunk and just plain obnoxious?
