A show of hands please, will you be as enthused in '09 with the cards dealt by Jerra?

Unless this senility thing is temporary and Jerra gets rid of Wade, will you good fans and parolees be just as enthusiastic and hopeful next season?

With the Tanks, T.O.s, PacMen, Ellises and big talkers like Crayton and James and other malcontents, will you be just an enthusiastic and hopeful in 2009?

I began this season thinking that Wade would make progress this season.
So we went from 13-3 to 9-7 this year. We went from one and out in the playoffs last year to NO PLAYOFFS this year.

Jerra calls it continuity. I call that regression.

Take part in the poll. If by miracle Jerra should pop in, maybe he could get a feel of how the great unwashed are feeling today about next season.

I always look forward to football season, however I will expect another mediocre season that goes down in flames in December.

zero interest or exectations in 2009.

next year will be the last, final act of the JERRYWORLD circus with wade/jason/to & whatever other flunky he brings in against better judgement.

ps - we'll be 7-9 with this crew next year

I will always have faith that Jerry will do everything he can to put a winning product on the field.

If it is the same crew, we will have the same results we had this year

I see no reason not to be. I love the team. Love a bunch of these players and some of the coaches. I like the talent level. 50th Anniversary year. New Stadium. 12 Draft picks in April.

Why the hell shouldn't I be excited? I can't think of one single, solitary reason not to be.

Why not? The start of every football season is the beginning of a new hope for every team! Even if we really know deep down inside it, will end like the other previous disappointing seasons.

i will be just as excited next year as i was this year.

i wont have unrealistic expectations and i will worry about every game.

just like i did this year.

i will always think the Cowboys have a shot at winning while knowing that
if they dont play well they can lose.

im starting to think that maybe i look at things differently than most here.

I'm hopeful about every season. This loss was a very big disappointment hell I watched every second of it until the clock went to 00:00 but I will not allow my emotions to get the better of me and I do think it would be a mistake to fire the coaches that seems to be the solution for every fan of every team out there when they are disappointed Fire the Coach!!! well teams who constantly fire coaches get no where. If you hire a coach you give him time you don't let your emotion take over like fans do.

Why would anyone think anything would be any different with the same clowns in charge? 7-9 or worse next season if there are no coaching changes.

I think most of you are overreacting, we will have an easier schedule+healthy players(felix, kosier, mcbriar, etc.)

10-6, 11-5 would be my guess

Why do assume he's blind?

...because he disagrees with you? Maybe he's just not as big of a quitter.

I'd much rather see a coaching change than a player change. We need some toughness, just not someone as stubborn as Parcells.

Well...I'd be fine with Pacman, Tank, and Ellis going.

Whomever is on the coaching staff next year, we sure as hell better keep T.O. Since he's been with the Cowboys, 99% of his "cancerous ways" are fabricated by the media. Bottom line, he works hard and was one of the few Cowboys who made plays yesterday.

Hos, you are great poster and always has great info on history. But what I have seen, you are not Half full guy, but seem to Glass Full even when the Glass is almost empty. No offense meant by that.

And personally, I cannot help but root for cowboys. SEems like its ingrained in my DNA now. I will probably whine and complain all year and some, but I guess I will be half full glass guy at the end, hoping, I am wrong. But I fully expect a 8-8 at best to 5 or 6 win team next year.

Jerry gets no more money from me until the Boys win 1 playoff game... that includes the Sunday Ticket, Hats and Ts, Training Camp, Away games too and those $340 seats that are based on the amount of PSL you buy!

No more money... thats the only thing Jerry understands!
